We have egrets too along the coast….I have seen them way inland as well…fascinating birds. Is that the sound of rain on your car?
They really are fascinating, especially when they're stalking something. And yes, that was the sound of rain!
Great name for a service hahaha. Was this preemptive work or…?
Yes, pre-emptive. The trees were dead and/or posted a threat to electrical wires or our house. I love their name, too!
Makes me nervous for them but guys I know get a thrill and it is necessary work!
It was fun watching them...but it's nothing I could do!
For a moment I thought this was Hawai'i with the title. But all I need to see is the surroundings, nah no can be.
Nah foa shua not Hawaiʻi...but kamaʻāina here, so gotta have da aloha, right?
Beautiful
Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
To this day I thrill at seeing a hummer just sitting! Great video!!
It was a two- Jake day!

I just got one of these loads but of topsoil! Great video of it dumping should earn me some gramma points with the faraway grandsons hahaha
What a beautiful way to start the day!!
It was delightful for sure!!
So my grandson from Honolulu got to see his first snow while we were all up in Portland- just enough to see lovely white flakes falling and for his dad to make a wee snow ball and throw it at him
How exciting!!! First snow is always so much fun.
Are you using the bulky maiden with your Woolee winder? And can u use a bulky bobbin with the Woolee winder?
No, I am not using a bulky maiden. I can pack so much on a regular bobbin that I don't see the need for a bulky one. But I think if you have a bulky maiden you have to have a special bulky bobbin to go with it.

Holy moly!!
Getting it ready for a blog post!
Beautiful… pleasantly peaceful. Thank you for sharing. God Bless you with much love ❤️🔥 and gratitude in Christ Jesus
My friend is using a Schacht Ladybug with Scotch tension. You are correct...no brake band on the WW. Are you using double drive?
what wheel are you using? is the scotch tension brake band over the whorl in the back on the bobbin? it looks like it. my wooleewinder is yanking the yarn out of my hands. i have the drive band on the wheel whorl just as i can see here but i left the brake band just hanging...not attached to anything. i thought you do not use the brake band on the WW.... AM I WRONG? i just got a Schacht flatiorn (used) with a WW..... so i am trying to figure it out. The WW website dies not give any info. TIA!
And when you were so close why didn’t you come for a visit??? Xoxo
Because this was in 2005 and you weren't there then. ♥♥
@@Anuheaikauatuahine lol well that makes sense then!
@@youngbloodsuz Getting ready to add it to my blog posts; started the first one yesterday, and the one before that about a month ago.
When you come to an obstacle, go around it.
Aloha. ....looks like plenty Good fun
Was!! Mahalo, brah!!
That's a monster that's what train people call it
A spinner friend bought a used wheel that included the bobbin winder. I can't find the maker online. Where did you get yours?
Spinolution has them
Brilliant! How did you hold the storage bobbin still on the shaft?
If that is a JJ Wheel is IS all myrtlewood...I own #210
Thank you for the information on these wheels. I have my mother's wheel, #58. She is still quite attached to it but no longer able to spin. I would like to keep it but I just don't have the room and not sure I will ever get to the point of spinning like she did. Any idea of how much a wheel like this might cost? If you happen to know of someone that is interested, I might be interested in selling. Thanks, Sally Mackey
It's mostly mahogany, not myrtlewood.
wow, that tree cover looks totally different through the lens, I pass by that place almost everyday, Aarondeager~ Google
