Skip to collection showcase in game: 15:30
I hope this is helpful or useful for some people :) I'm going to try to upload videos regularly as I have A LOT of val clips saved up! If any of the videos are using other skins than these I will include a trigger warning.
Outro song: Be Kind by TOLEDO (bighug-records.bandcamp.com/album/big-hug-volume-two) purchase of this wonderful album supports folks in Palestine if you enjoy it too!

The biggest issue I have with this, is that there ARE other shooters that don't use traditional gun sounds(Overwatch comes to mind), valorant may have elements but it mostly tries to stay grounded, I love the evori dreamwing bundle but you cant play valorant without avoiding guns that sound realistic, sure you can change the gun sound, but what about people who are triggered by just SEEING realistic guns? you have to draw the line at a certain point. At the end of the day if you don't want to see or hear guns, then don't play games with those guns? In an ideal world it would be accessible by everyone but lets be honest RIOT only wants your wallet so if anything they will try make you spend more money

This is a long comment trying to make sense of the contents of this video so I put them in separate paragraphs. PTSD: If this video is sincere and not just a very well made satire, I think the thought is really nice. Trying to accommodate for people with a traumatic past, with PTSD as you put it, is a really nice thought. But I don't really understand why a person with a history of traumatic gun violence would ever want to play a "first person shooter" where the entire goal is to kill the enemy as fast as possible trying to hit vital points exclusively, in a response to a comment you said/ asked: If the agents in Valorant can fly and throw fire why does the weapons have to be realistic? Which I think is a fair question to ask but if we're being real here the majority of people don't have gun related PTSD, if anything a game where the guns don't sound like guns should be a big seller right. You might need to get on that before another company makes a game like that. Conclusion PTSD: What I want to say with this is: Yes, Valorant or rather Riot Games could add "alternative gun sounds" as an accessibility feature, hell I'd support that even. But all things considered the demographic that could use this change, has seemingly not been large enough to be of any concern to Riot Games. For some random stats, let's say 8% of the population is colorblind that's a considerable amount that are born with colorblindness in some way. PTSD related to gun violence is only really common in the USA at about 3%, due to the prevalence of guns and well violence. Now while the USA are a big demographic adjusting for 3% of 333 million is about 900'000 people which seems like a lot of people but compared to people with colorblindness is in no way a comparable, with 8% of the world population being colorblind, which is 656 million (8.2 Billion / 100 * 8). All in all it is a commendable effort of you to make is possible for your partner to watch you play the game without getting PTSD, but I don't see a reality where streamers would or could account for people with PTSD, they'd choose the cool skin with the nice gun sounds, because well the gun sounds are nice (for most people). Hearing and Seeing disabilities: Trying to accommodate for people with hearing disabilities, while it may be possible as seen in games like Fortnite, would be giving players a tool that shows the enemies approximate direction and would probably not bode well with the competitive spirit of an FPS Shooter like Valorant or CSGO/ CS2. People without hearing disabilities could combine it with their actual hearing and gain an advantage. When it comes to seeing disabilities I am 90% sure that there is currently, emphasis on currently, not a way in my mind we're blind people can face up against people who can see. Now you might say you could make a separate queue for blind people but that makes neither economic sense for Riot Games, nor can they in anyway ensure the people queuing are actually blind. Feel free to correct me on anything if I'm wrong I'm always open to being proven wrong or maybe there is just something I'm misunderstanding.

It's tough to have settings for a gun game to make the guns NOT make gun sounds. If there was a separate setting, it would certainly have a competitive edge.

Possibly, but I haven't seen it even attempted so I'm optimistic something could be done!

The G.U.N set, especially the classic (since your choice also looks like a weapon more), is a good pick for a cheaper lazer sounding weapon

It’s a fps game FPS FIRST PERSON SHOOTER you cannot expect no guns or gunsounds even if you buy skins you’re gonna hear the enemy’s gun this has to be satire

@@shashumgaclownemoji I'm not advocating there should be no gun sounds for everyone, just that there could be optional settings so more people can play an fps GAME. It's a game not real life. If people can fly through the air and throw fire etc why do just the weapons have to be realistic?
