Buy the YZF with caution mate, the apprillia's are nice, but the yzf 125's are very small and unbeleiveably slow, i know as my mate has one and he wishes he didnt they top out at 70mph on a flat

Haha! s'pose lol or i could get a RS250 and get it restricted (because of proof) take the restrictor off and dont tell the insurance or dvla and ride it. lol. theres a video on youtube somewhere where an RS250 keeps up with a GSXr 1000 lol

yeah but if you get an rs250 and restrict it to 33bhp you'll have a better, quicker bike :) rs250 and rs125 are really very very similar. The rs250 is just quicker is all (In lamens terms) :)

Well, I'm 17 and i wont to do my full bike test but i get restricted to 33bhp for 2 yrs so i'm not sure about the RS250 but i'm tempted to get the RS125 after my test.

HAHA!!! :D Good lad!!! Have you passed ur full test then? If so and then you can ride a RS 250, but make sure you get a 2005 model anything else will probably be shot to shit.

A mate of mine had one. Its as uncomfortable as shit and the 4stroke's gutless compared to his new Mito. Plus, parts are becoming hard to come by now. Tihnk what it'll be like when you've owned one for a couple of years. Im getting an Aprilia RS 125 this September and my brothers getting a Yamaha YZFR 125. Just my two cents. Other than that the XTC is a nice bike but buy with caution....

yh, definatly get one, m8, ther quick aswell, i done above 90 on mine, 2008 model stock, im trying 2 buy the exhaust and airfilter from weller racing corportation, can some 1 tell me what these parts are like, the rain, well the engine, is quite exposed in the sachs, so it steams in the rain cuz the water evaporates of the hot areas. ive noticed the rain doesnt affect at all, only realy on earlier models, not the newer ones, jus be carefull in the rain, too much power and ure off.

I think you need to find a used one! They stopped producing the Sachs XTC in 2006/7. not so much difference in speed without the silencer. I have bought a GP Style Exhaust from wellerracingcorporation, and I can feel a small change in speed! You can find a XTC at ebay!

is that fast as standard? I'm thinking of getting one but i can't seem to find anywhere that sells them. do you know of anywhere that sells them? nice vid btw mate
