Famous Historic Red Lighthouse In Jupiter Florida On Atlantic Ocean Near West Palm Beach
Historic lighthouse built in 1860. The top of the 105-foot (32 m) tower is 153 feet (47 m) above sea level. The light can be seen 24 nautical miles (44 km; 28 mi) at sea. The lighthouse structure is brick with double masonry walls. The lighthouse was painted red in 1910 to cover discoloration caused by humidity. Hurricane Jeanne in 2004 sandblasted the paint from the upper portion of the tower, and the tower was repainted using a potassium silicate mineral coating. Filmed in November 2024.

Omg that's awful. I keep checking everyday if they are open. I'm a local and honeymoon and caladesi is some of my favorite places.
I usually (of course not this year, went to Anastasia Island) go to Caladesi every October after HHN and that is virtually unrecognizable. Glad to see everybody has electricity back finally.
Honeymoon Island is even less recognizable now. Working on new videos. Stay tuned!
Caladesi one of my favorite Florida places! When you look at this barrier island it did what it is supposed to do- bear the brunt of wind and waves but protect Clearwater and Dunedin. Too bad Florida,Texas and the whole East coast stupidly built on barrier islands.
