Due to a busy schedule in life, I have been unable to get this sideshow done. I got to work on it last night and this is what was made. Hope everyone enjoys it. Also, these pictures were taken by my friend who I went there with. I was walking around in my Sandman outfit. Also, I do not own any of these songs. These songs are copyrighted to the creators of them.
P.S. Sorry for uploading this over and over, music rights and such.

The Who - My Generation

The Kids Are Alright Album. Edit: Some reason I couldn't fill the screen with the image. I will be adding more of The Kids Are Alright soundtrack, I may add the movies clips.
Aaah, not sure why Led Zeppelin gets all the credit for starting British heavy blues/metal over The Who especially when they got their first and The Who was always superior and Heavy when they played LIVE and this version solidifies that.
The Who! ❤
pete is using the univibe he bought from jimi
I bought it from Pete. The prototype for all fulltone univibes is from my univibe
I remember seeing this movie as a kid, my jaw was on the floor when this song came on. Absolutely one of the greatest live performances ever.
The riff at 1:36 is incredible. I absolutely love The Who.
"Young Man Blues" Oh well a young man ain't got nothin' in the world these days I said a young man ain't got nothin' in the world these days You know in the old days When a young man was a strong man All the people they'd step back When a young man walked by But you know nowadays It's the old man, He's got all the money And a young man ain't got nothin' in the world these days I said nothing Everybody knows that a young man ain't got nothin' He got nothin' Nothin' Take it easy on the young man They ain't got nothin' in the world these days I said they ain't got nothin'! They got sweet fuck-all!
LED SLAY .
Their best song! Pure rock and roll awesomeness!
THE OLD MAN IS KLAUS SCHWAB, KISSINGER, SOROS AND GATES!
Epic Moon,,and Entwhistle,,, They go nuts!! Townsend is laying down serious leads!! Can't top Daltrys Voice!!
One of the most amazing band:The Who.Four men, four leaders and a style in the roots of real wild Rock.
One of the greatest live performances ever! Right up there with Crossroads by Cream.
In the US: As of January 2016, there has been no decision to require females to register with Selective Service or be subject to a future military draft. Selective Service continues to register only men, ages 18 through 25. So much for male priviledge.
It has that Led Zeppelin and Doors vibe right in between
bad
judge judy full episodes
Great cut from a great album! Saw “The Kids Are Alright” in the theater when it first came out! Was awestruck and was not that familiar with The Who’s (complete) repertoire nor biography (then).👍👍
Same here. I was a casual fan until I saw this movie and particularly this song. Been a hardcore fan since.
One of my all time fav Who songs they so rocked it on this
Still got the double vinyl with booklet :)
This is the best version in all times, I play this version whit my kids, Long live Rock and roll 🎸
I bought this on cassette in 1988..in high school..still best live stuff from them ever..here I am at 47 of age
Ya había escuchado a otros bajistas de Rock Clásico y más de bandas Inglesas, pero cuando escuché ésta linea de Bajo por primera vez.... Simplemente pensé, éste Bajista es el Mejor que ah pisado éste mismísimo Mundo.
actually the sound is so dreadful as to be unlistenable...assholes at MCA ought to be held accountable
Wo...the old man does not necessarily have all the money.....and the freaking life expectancy is not as long as we are being led to believe ....love you . The Who gets on my nerves...but I know you like them hahaaa Will always be one of my favorite bands
All the people..they stepped BACK when a young man walked by.....that is awesome ! Now let me tell you something....in olden cultures...people stepped back...and stood up when what they called a ' gray hair ' entered the room..they were treated with respect and massive reverence.......which is the way it ought to be
The chords at the 2:50 mark are maybe the purest freaking moment in rock. Still sounds as fresh as when I heard it at age 12.
I know EXACTLY what you're talking about... I was in 7th grade, recorded the movie off of MTV ... played it over and over again this song.
When I was a teenager, I listened to this song over and over, hanging on to every word. 40 years later, switch "young man" and "old man" around, and it still works.
Keith is killing it on this track!
Recorded at the London colesium 1969. Unbelievable sound especially what they were doing live and keeping it together and powerful. Never will you hear this kinda sound. Townshend is masterful
Where was this performance recorded? It's not Leeds, Isle of Wight or Tanglewood.
swami 7774 the London Coliseum
14 diciembre 1969
Also there are another live versions easy to find: Amsterdam 29.9.1969 and The Young Vic 26.4.1971
Now I can hear where ABBA's musical influence came from. Hmmmm...
This is wrong. ABBAS main influence were THE SEX PISTOLS.
the last word in Rock............ THE WHO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How could you not want to mosh!!!!
I remember seeing the foo fighters cover this and absolutely rocked ot
I've seen that video and compared to this they absolutely sucked!
@@Penfold-zr2be Yep!
@@Penfold-zr2be they generally do...
sad to say but Pete probably can't play now like he did that morning at wood stock. heard the who came on at 4am and if u watch kids are alright seems true. sparks in the dark and this song was daylight. sad to say never again Pete put out art like this. ART!!!!
so true, if you are a young man you got nothing in this world!!!! Sorry, we fuckt if up for u.
I mean this version. I hate the Live at Leeds version sucks like "you better you better, you bet" lame song.
david johanson you get my first and only thumbs-down for that asininery
No need to hate it
Big who fan and this song rules!!!!!
The OX, bajista, bajista bajista. Gran versión en el Magnífico concierto del Coliseo, Diciembre del 69.
This is an epic version of this song. This is super strong stuff from a three-piece band. Very, very bad-ass shit.
Yeah, man. After I heard this, I threw away my copy of Live at Leeds, which has the lamest version of Young Man Blues ever.
Its a FOUR piece band
I remember being a kid in the 1980s and 1990s People listening to shit like Duran Duran New Kids On The Block Rap and other shit I was listening to Guns n Roses Iron Maiden stuff like that I was also listening to 1960s and early 1970s bands like The Who why the music kicks ass anyway Some friend would joke about this you know yuppie children the jokes on them now because the one's I still talk to say most of today's music sucks and the downfall started in the late 1980s through the 1990s now a lot of types of music are a joke it's a total waste and shame because good bands are out there great guitar players but they want men like Lady GA GA and women like Justin Bieber to sign big dollar contracts Ain't that a shame said Fats Dominoe Rock On
@Mordecaicarroll Pete Townsend was a rhythm guitarist rather that a lead guitarist. In The Who John Entwistle (Bass) played lead and Pete Townsend plated rhythm. Keith took his cues from Pete rather than John. That is what made up The Who's signature sound.
While I agree that Pete played a rhythm role more often more often than not in Who songs, there's quite a bit of kick-ass lead guitar on this. At points Pete and Entwhistle are soloing simultaneously. No question that Entwhistle was amazing and a great soloist among bass players
John Entwistle should be the patron saint of bass players.
He is! Didn't you get the memo??? Jeez...
LMAO
He isnt?
This band should be the patron saint of bands.
He's the Roman God of Bass.
Has anybody ever rocked this hard, if so Who and when did they rock it!!!
About 2004 when I was a long haired teen getting into music!
This version kicks ass! In an interview I read way back in the 80's Steve Miller suggested that Pete Townshend wasn't a good guitarist. I call bulls#@! on that.
Steve Miller NEEDS TO KEEP HIS FUCKING MOUTH SHUT! He's just fucking jealous since he BOTH SUCKS as a guitarist & as a "songwriter" (if you can call it that). He was also at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival & bad-mouthed The Who (And was incensed that they smashed their gear at the end of their set while praising Hendrix for doing same. Hendrix was a good guitarist. But, as the footage shows, he couldn't smash a guitar TO SAVE HIS FUCKING LIFE, so he ended up lighting up his guitar with lighter fluid.) Dear Steve, The Who - 1, The Jimi Hendrix "Experience" - 0.
It's this track that elevated my opinion of Townsend as a guitarist. Miller is a fool.
Steve WHO?
@@3bar Pete’s and Keith’s style were not like Page and Bonham or Clapton and Baker. They disliked long solos. They preferred to play hard in songs. But Pete is an unbelievable guitarist I saw The Who 2 weeks ago at UBS arena in NY. They were phenomenal and both Roger and Pete are pushing 80!!!!! And Moonie for me was simply the best ever.
GOOOOOOOOOO DANNY
LOVE this version. At 2:51 you can hear everything just "click into place". Truly amazing listening to these guys play off each other.
I've seen the Kids are Alright, I remember liking it a lot. But I also seem to recall that this was the one song they didn't include a full performance of, and it was the one I wish they did! Daltrey's voice got better as time went on, but I agree Moon and the others were in their prime here, although even so-so live Who is better than what most bands can muster, even great ones. ;)
I always liked this version better than Live at Leeds and Isle of Wight. It was in the movie "Kids are Alright". But yes, if you are a Who fan check out the Kilburn dvd. I dont know what idiot threw out the tapes and how they were found or even if the story is true, but the quality isn't bad. Keith Moon was in his prime during this performance.
Wow, thanks! That's practically sacrilege if the story about the tapes is true.
