      Air fry on high (200C/392F) until golden brown or for 14-15 minutes. Turn them halfway during air frying. Serve immediately. (you may need to do a few batches).

      Valid, but one day it'll turn out perfect for you and from then on, you'll never look back. When caramelising onions, be vigilant as they can quickly transition from golden brown to burnt, I recommend not leaving them whilst you caramelise them until you get the hang of it.

    1:14 1 cup of water? That's way too much and it caused your sauce to be watery and not stick well to the pasta at 2:03 - your pasta is swimming in the sauce. It also dilutes flavour. Instead try a 1:1 mix of tomato puree to water (100 ml) to retain favour and give more volume.

    • @PlantBasedFolk
      @PlantBasedFolk Місяць тому

      More than one way to peel an orange. You do you. But I’ll say this, not all tomatoes are the same. Cherry tomatoes have way less water content than their larger counterparts. Larger tomatoes “generally” do not require the addition of water, cherry tomatoes do.

    Yay! Yum! I could have used this today. At the soup kitchen we were actually serving soup today. And bread. Other cooks were using parmesan from the pantry on their bread. I left mine plain because of renet. I’m vegetarian but am happy to eat vegan often, hence why I love this channel (I can eat any recipe and the food is delicious). I could have dressed up my bread too and now I know how. Plus it will be great on spaghetti and tomato sauce and probably on a lot of other things, too. Thank you so much, Janelle!

    I think you worry about things few would ever notice. I didn’t. I was busy watching the construction of kibbeh. What is kibbeh? Wikipedia suggested it was made of a meat and bulgar wheat paste. Is it always or are there naturally vegan versions? Just curious.

    • @PlantBasedFolk
      @PlantBasedFolk 2 місяці тому

      I think you're right, thank you, I needed that. The most common way to make kibbeh is meat and bulgur. But there are naturally vegan versions which are becoming increasingly more popular with the rise of veganism. I have a few of kibbeh recipes some cold and some warm. I will keep adding to them as I go along. Bulgur is also featured in any type of kibbeh, which can be made in trays or as balls.
