What is the process for an existing investor to withdraw funds from their investment in Fidelis?
Withdrawing capital from your investment in Fidelis Private Fund is designed to be straightforward and investor-friendly. No exit fees are associated with withdrawals, provided you have met the one-year commitment. If you request a withdrawal before the end of the first year, a fee applies only to the amount being withdrawn, not your entire capital account. Withdrawals are subject to the availability of cash in the fund, as determined by the general partner, to ensure the integrity and liquidity of the fund are maintained.
To initiate a withdrawal, investors must provide a 45-day written notice to the general partner, and distributions are typically made quarterly, at the same time income distributions are issued. In certain cases, large withdrawals that could affect the fund's operations may be paid out over a reasonable period to protect the fund's stability. Additionally, if an investor wishes to sell part or all of their account, the fund has the right of first refusal with a 10-day notice. The general partner reserves the right to adjust withdrawal policies as necessary, ensuring the ongoing strength of the fund for all investors.
By maintaining this careful balance of liquidity and flexibility, Fidelis Private Fund continues to offer a secure and attractive investment opportunity, allowing investors the freedom to manage their capital effectively while also protecting the fund's overall performance.

When it comes to personal or professional growth, should we be asking for feedback or advice?
Переглядів 2121 день тому
Research suggests that asking for advice is far more effective. Here's why: Feedback tends to focus on the past, often highlighting mistakes or celebrating successes. It usually attracts cheerleaders who only applaud our best self, or critics who tear down our worst self. Neither is particularly helpful for growth. On the other hand, advice is forward-looking and constructive. It tells us what ...

    Hi John, Hubert here from Queens, NY. I was in Ocean Beach San Diego for the weekend and saw a banner of yours on a house. (I think it's the single family with additional dwelling in the rear). I like to learn about money, how it intertwines into the fabric of society, and how money can literally shape neighborhoods. As an accredited investor, why would I invest with a fund like yours vs a traditional bond or the stock market? I'm looking forward to watching your videos and learning about this world. Best, Hubert

      Hi Hubert, Thanks so much for reaching out, and I apologize for the delayed response-I missed your comment earlier! I’m glad to hear you spotted one of our projects while in Ocean Beach, and it sounds like you share a deep curiosity about how capital impacts communities and shapes neighborhoods. That’s exactly the kind of insight and long-term vision we value at Fidelis. As an investor, you’re likely familiar with the volatility of the stock market and even the traditional bond market, which can fluctuate based on broader economic conditions. In contrast, a mortgage fund like ours provides a more consistent and stable approach to growth by focusing on real estate-backed investments. Here’s how: 1. Asset-Backed Security: Each investment is secured by real estate, which serves as collateral and mitigates risk. This approach provides tangible security, particularly in a fluctuating market. We are secured with mostly San Diego County real estate. 2. Consistent Returns: Mortgage funds, like Fidelis, offer steady, predictable returns, as they are structured around regular interest payments from borrowers rather than being subject to the rapid ups and downs of the stock market. 3. Impact on Local Communities: Investing in a mortgage fund like Fidelis goes beyond returns; it contributes to meaningful projects, such as housing development, ADUs, and revitalization efforts in local neighborhoods. This creates a lasting impact while supporting housing solutions in areas like Southern California, particularly in San Diego County. You can find more about our approach on our website, www.fidelispf.com. I look forward to hearing what you think and answering any further questions as you explore this alternative investment opportunity of real estate-backed investments. Sincerely, John Lloyd

    Terrific suggestion and how serendipitous as I was just thinking of this kk last week watching some friends in line ahead of me, checking in for something. How often (and women are more guilty than men of apologizing) this happens.

    I really appreciate the information! What do you think most hard money lenders would think about only being used for acquisition cost, but I fund my own renovations and sell the home myself and ( exit strategy #1) since I'm an agent I Pay no real estate agent fees as a seller, then pay back hard money loan or (exit strategy #2) refinance to payback hard money lender and home become long term rental. I would be using business credit to fund the renovations cost.

    • @Fidelispf
      @Fidelispf 2 роки тому

      Gerrett, Thank you for your feedback. As a direct private lender I often only assist in funding the acquisition cost and the borrower handles the remodel out of there own funds. So, this is common practice with more experienced borrowers with the resources to do so. Thanks again for your question and if I can help you in any way let me know.
