I like the Legend Diver on its mesh bracelet. It’s a beautiful blend of a diver’s/sports watch that you can even wear with a tuxedo or a sport coat out to a cocktail lounge or even to the opera. A perfect blend of sportiness and dressings if you ask me. There’s a piece from the Master Collection with a moon phase that I like too and the Sector Dial is timeless. What a catalog !

I love this watchmaker so much. Dad bought my mother a gold Longine on a bracelet in late 1947 when they became engaged and then bought himself the first Omega Seamaster on a strap and those were their dress watches for the rest of their lives. Both companies mean the world to me.

I love my gold Baume & Mercier dress watch that I wear as my everyday watch. I would like to buy a Clifton Baumatic on a bracelet with a blue dial in stainless as my new everyday watch and reserve my gold B&M for dressy occasions but it’s not like it’s urgent. I do wish that instead of marketing their lower tier watches as Baum they would have named them Da Baume since they’re intended to be marketed to younger people and I wish they would sell them in different retail locations to keep the B&M name more exclusive because I think it’s worthy of the distinction.
