Gran Turismo and forza are simcades, aka motorsports "simulators" with arcade mechanics. It's like FIFA, there are rules to the sport you have to follow, but I agree that Gran Turismo Is boring as a game. People who are into motorsports will have more fun playing IRacing or assetto corsa while people who just want to play a racing video game will have more fun with burnout, wreckfest ir Mario Kart.
at the start where you were looking for a 3d model online, it kinda scared me a bit as if you were yet another lazy gamedev. but no, you made your own models, music and tracks which really makes me happy also i subscribed this video is genuinely good

Lego Racers was the best at shortcuts. It had far better shortcut mechanics than it should have any reason to in the 00s.
I just looked into this, and I can't believe I haven't heard of it. It's a shame that all these great ideas lost in the market to huge big budget realistic stuff (or ultrasoft cutesy garbage). I opt for the surreal 💪
