Casio MRW200H Review
Full review on my blog here: divewatchesblog.com/reviews/casio-mrw200h-review/
Took the $15 ultra low budget watch on a deep dive down to the wreck of the HMCS Saskatchewan, in the waters of British Columbia.
Many people would warn against taking a watch only rated to 100 meters of water resistance diving, but Casio makes some tough watches for a low price.

Seiko SKX007 Close Up
Переглядів 9 тис.8 років тому
Full review of the SKX007 here: divewatchesblog.com/reviews/seiko-skx007/ A few macro and time-lapse shots of the Seiko SKX007 dive watch. Widely claimed to be the best mechanical diver for under $200, the SKX007 becomes many peoples first foray into mechanical time-pieces.
Depth Testing a Casio MRW200H
Переглядів 17 тис.8 років тому
Can a $15 Casio dive watch handle recreational SCUBA diving depths? First, just a simple dip in a tub. Believe it or not, I've heard of supposedly 100m WR watches failing at just getting dunked, so I needed to check before going deeper. Next, a few simple tests in our deep pot (used to simulate deep water pressure by filling a chamber with pressurized air). I take it straight down to 125ft and ...
Seiko SKX007 Underwater Bezel Operation
Переглядів 12 тис.8 років тому
The bezel on the SKX007 is fantastic, with very nice positive clicks and it's easy to turn with heavy dive gloves, while being solid enough it won't move accidentally.
Seiko SKX007 Dive Watch Lume Timelapse
Переглядів 3,7 тис.9 років тому
divewatchesblog.com Night timelapse of the Seiko SKX007 diver's watch. Covers about 3 hrs in 40 seconds. Before I started recording I put the watch in front of a bright light for about 30 seconds. You can see the lume fade pretty quickly during the first 45 minutes, but then it seems to level out for the next 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Great video 👏🏼🔥
В реальности люм ни о чём - соответствует цене
Casio should paid you for that
Wow
Nice
What is the colour of this watch?
This video made up my mind and I have 2nd budget casio (1st one I killed with alcohol based surface disinfectant- silicone seals gone bad🤦🏻♂️)
I'd love to see the Casio marlin MDV 106
Are you okay man? Are you planning new videos?
How deep can be tested on this watch Sir ?
Dave stop playing with your watch and clean the pool.
Casio mdv 107 review pliss
Got my watch today, can't wait to dive into the depths of my abyss of loneliness...
best review i ever saw practically lol!!
this is the best video
How deep was the dive ???? It looks like the wreck starts at 45 feet and goes down to 130 feet.
No screw down crown and 100 m water resistance, but it can dive. It s so strange.
It is serious crazy
subbed 😊
Unlike other reviewers, you actually take the dive watches diving. Thank you for doing that. Cheap, simple, functional.
What is the result after that?
Thanx a lot man, nobody bother to film this casio under water .very good job
Nice watch 😳
De fuck how is he diving without screw down crown on these.....
How deep did you guys go??
Looks at least 30 meters.
Hello. Water never leaked into the watch because of diving?
The bubbles formed during ascent appear to come from the gap between the bezel and the case. So nothing harmful as long as the case and the movement are intact. Great watch. Did you test it to the full rating of 100m? I am getting this. I use a G shock currently and the only thing is, deep under water I can't risk pressing the buttons. But we carry a focused beam light so it is readable. The lume on this is just ok but again since there is light it would be manageable. Plus it has just one crown and not four buttons or more, which reduces the number of openings for water to seep in. There is a solar model MRW S300H, but the bezel is much more free to rotate and won't recommend it hence. Otherwise that model should also help one avoid any uncertainty of battery running out abruptly/water leaking in due to improper battery change.
Can I use casio mq 24 on diving?
It's 2020 and I had to pay almost $300 for my SKX007J1 from Jomashop.
You are lucky (twice) they are discontinue so their price new at amazon is around $1100. You got it cheap, and it got more value now.
Is it safe to rotate the bezel underwater? I afraid some water will get inside the watch
I like to swim and jump from the bridge about 4-5 meters. 2 weeks 1 time. I am especially interested in Gw9400. Is it able to be used to jump frequently from a height of around 5 meters up? Will the systems and sensors of the gw9400 break? Please test the gw9400, throw it into the water from a very high level.
I buy it today thats why im her 😊
Wow I was afraid the luminescence is too weak for diving but you could see it even with minimal light. Great video.
This is surprising given the non threaded crown, awesome video.
pretty damn tough watch for $16 on Amazon.Might just be the toughest budget watch there is.Casio makes very tough and affordable watches .
cool mate
A great watch, just shows it’s a myth that megabucks requires spending for a dive watch. Only caveat is that it is a two way rotating bezel, however, it is hard to accidentally turn it.
Hahaha and I thougt it wouldnt survive swining in the pool. Not bad looking at all cant believe its was only $20.
@@fukushimadaichi415 in Israel it’s 44$:(
@@coolhatul I bought it at 12.50 USD.
Great video, very few show any watch taken to depth. At 0:24 it would be an easy task to open the rear case and check for water intrusion. I suggest in the future before you immerse the watch, place an ice cube for about 10 min on the face to check for condensation, take a photo. Do the dive protocol. After the dive, repeat the ice cube test now compare the amount of condensation, with your photo, that reflects the added water inside the watch. Most times, watches will still work after a small flood particular if its fresh water, but it will die faster with the same volume of water had it been salt. If fresh, the moisture may simply slowly vaporize if kept topside until the watch is 'dry' again but it could also gum up the analog gearing. Alas, what can happen is the watch could simply stop working anytime after the flood, and at worst, at depth. So if you try need a some reliable timer at bottom, its best to to be water tight at all times to insure the watch works as specified.
Oh man, those waters are as cold and no tropical at all as the Cantabric Sea where I scuba dive. I got a Citizen Promaster but I have recently purchased a Casio MTD 1053 D as a beat model, let's see how it makes diving.
I f you want a cheap scuba diving watch nothing better than a Casio Duro, 200 meters proof.
Perico De Lospalotes you mean MDV 106 seiko style l? Yes it's really Good👌🏽🦈🐟🌊🐠
This is what we need to see
Is it diver bezel?
Yes, but it rotates both ways, not just in one direction.
@@Divewatchesblog is the watch screw down crown?
@@Shadowwalker1717 it’s does not have a screw down crown

18mm but, but you should use strap adapters for 22mm
I will buy this watch 👌 Thank you for the very informative videos! Enjoy Diving👌
Are you planning on making more videos? I would love to see some diving footage with the skx
Yes! Just haven't had much time lately for video making. I'll be sure to get on it :-)
Dive Watches Blog Awesome :D
+Dive Watches Blog It's a really cool concept, actual diving with specific watches to see how they look and how they hold up. I don't think anyone else is doing that. Might be a hit
Sub'd! I really like your videos!

+PowerChucker Thanks for subscribing! And I've got a lot of ideas for videos, hopefully get some more up soon :-)
