I’ve booked a colour analysis near me and I’m so excited! I want to do a whole wardrobe edit etc after but the woman who is closest to me that I’m having the colour analysis with is older and I’m worried I won’t like anything she’ll pick? Does it matter how old the personal stylists age is, their background and their style? Do I need to find someone similar in age with a style I like? Or will they be very open and look at me as I am - young creative etc etc
That’s great, enjoy the analysis! While I can’t speak for other stylists, it shouldn’t matter what age and style the personal stylist has themselves as our advice and guidance is tailored to bring the best out of you! Of course it can help if you see and like the stylist’s own style as there can be an extra layer of excitement and connection to their ideas. I personally work with many clients (young and creative!) who have something in common with me - I’m 31, petite, slightly alternative and shop high street

Incidentally. Same advice goes for cutting strings off of towels 😭 Better to tie them off if you can. Otherwise, if they are nice towels, it will make holes while in the wash 😭 Another case where I got bad advice from YT 😭

Stay away 😁👍🏻 Stick to what you need & also even wait to a week before Christmas IF you still need it… Wait… a few days, do you STILL need it or was it a spur of the moment?… Or..go out without buying & get an idea, make notes & buy online or see the item in the shop & search online.. &…It’s not the end of the world it will come up again…

As a knitter, taking scissors to your sweaters is a horror story lol. If you don't want to buy some sort of depiller I would recommend just using a clean razor. As long as you don't use an electric razor whatever you use to shave is likely suitable for your sweaters just swap to a fresh blade.
