Thank you. I've always taken lots of photos through the years, but videography was my main enjoyment. The drone and my handheld camera have the technical capabilities for great photography so a fortnight ago I decided to give it a go. It must be in the genes as my dad has been a photographer for over 60 years. Watching him over the years has obviously helped. Now I can combine the two skills. OMG.... that'll add to the workload 🤣

My dad was, and still is a photographer. He's in his 80's now and spent most of his life taking photographs. I suppose I've subconsciously made mental notes over the years. I've always preferred moving images, but I'm afraid I'm now hooked on them both. Thank you for your kind comment.

The smaller birds don't pose much danger, they just want to play. The bigger birds have some kind of issues going on. As long as you keep to the golden rule of going higher and fast in stages you should be ok. Enjoy your flying, it's addictive. 🙂👍

Yes. Legally it has to have a strobe on the top that is detectable from 3KM away. I also have a strobe on the bottom to help me see it from the ground.

Thank you. I'm doing the massive Cromford steam rally in August as well. It's massive, and will have a traditional fairground all lit up at night along with the illuminated traction engines. Going to need all my batteries charged. 😁

I volunteer my services for search and rescue of the many varied four legged inhabitants of Derbyshire but never get to film them as battery power is key, and filming limits the time in the air. The other problem is that drones tend to scare animals if you try to film them at near ground level, so the new camera is great, as I am finding out. 😃🐕🦮🐕‍🦺

Good for you mate see you are an animal preferrer too! Even though I nursed for 30 years ,still prefer animals,especially dogs ,to people( so did most of my patients! ) Keep up the good work 🐶
