I've been working on vibrato for over a year when I first found your video. My cellist tutor had given me the rubber ball exercise, I'd watched countless other YT vids on it. Nothing was making it click until you explained the mechanics the way you did and I had to run over to my cello and try it out. And by god I could actually DO it! Thank you so much for this!

I'm 65 and just learning the viola. My problem is "splitting my brain" to do 2 things at once. I can bow, or, I can rock my fingers. When I try to both at the same time nothing works.
