Hi- if we are looking at Christian history like the temple being destroyed, we can't look past centuries of Christian liturgical worship, too- unless we are dismissing all the work, worship, and practices of many saints (or Saints) before us

@@st.maryspnccinparmaoh4656 Well, we can look past it if it is only man-made tradition not required by God, as He no longer dwells in temples made by the hands of men, and half of the traditions you cite were done away with with after Yeshua prophesied that the Temple would be destroyed, not to go and make some more! The church is the congregation or people, not the building. The word for a meeting house is sinagoga in Greek & beit knesset in Jewish vernacular, but non-Jews use the Anglicised rendering of it into "synagogue" as pertaining only to Jews, when it is just a generic term applying the meeting place of any group or people, but not "church." Incense, altars, priestly vestments and headwear were all done away with, yet we see them in Christian services, which definitely was not a part of the disciples & the first early Jews' church. The saints of God are all one without any special titles and we don't need any marble edifices. 🙃

A few times in the Old Testament vestments are spoken of. Exodus chapter 39 speaks in depth of the priestly garments...and as it is quite clearly a Judeo-Christian faith in practice, the very act of wearing adorned garments continues what was prescribed in the service of our Lord. No, It is not one of Jesus' commandments and no, the apostles probably didn't wear vestments...but certainly the early Christian priests did.

I am Ahmed, I became a Christian and I was a Muslim before. But after reading the Bible, my view changed and I believed in Christianity, which is the true salvation of the soul. But it is difficult for me to practice my beliefs for fear that my Christianity will be discovered because I live in a Muslim country that kills everyone who follows anything other than Islam. So I feel a danger to my life. And my physical condition is very poor, I can't even escape outside my country. I hope that my message will reach any church that helps me escape to any country from Europe, America or Britain. As Christians, we suffer a lot and our situation is dire. We hope for help.
