My son is 23, 24 in February 2025. I didn’t let him “cry it out” either. I was there when he needed me, I will always be. He is a warm, kind, and capable young adult. So proud of him!

NEVER!! I keep them in bed with me. My daughters are 29,28 and 12 and I never let them out of my sight. I always felt that 100% of crib deaths happened in the crib. I nursed and napped with my children when they did and I was well rested, no trouble putting my baby down to bed or nap and we were all happier for it. My youngest daughter is a mommas girl and she is super mature for her age but still sleeps with me since my husband works overnights 6 days a week and there is no reason why her and I should both be alone (and me lonely). It has always served me well to trust my own instincts and not put too much stock in what everyone else does. It’s all about personal preference and that gorgeous child is YOURS so it only matters what you choose to do. Enjoy the baby year…it will be over before you know it and you will still feel like you missed it even if you were able to be with her 100% of the time. Best of luck

This is so stupid. America can’t even pay for the safe arrival of its future citizens. It’s so crazy. The country is further disadvantaging the disadvantaged who may not be able to afford insurance and risk unsafe birth increasing the risk of death and disability who are further marginalised as there is no NDIS in American for those with a disability. Wow. You don’t pay a cent here in Australia for both birth and disability care, it’s paid through our taxes.

Many times they will charge the insurance much more than if you're self pay .

❤ canada is free. Also 10 dollar a day daycare. For a full year and a half, pregnancy leaves are paid for. Up until the age of 18, the government provides 500$-700$ per child per month. Child Dential is free. Being a Canadian makes me happy.
