Is it true that the sets and costumes have been downsized ? Dos the production look cheap?
@@lepetitchat123 for this particular tour in the video, yes sets have been downsized. Costumes are also different but still very beautiful. The best explanation I can give is that they downsized to make touring easier. Me personally, I don’t think it looks cheap. It’s a non replica version of the show, so you’re going to get a whole different experience.
@@tylertremallose the real reason they downsized is because they don't want to pay royalties to the designers of the original production. They want to reduce production costs. I am upset with it and don't think the production is the same without the input from the original designers.

The set and costume designers are dead. Maria Björnson did both sets and costumes and she is DEAD. So, i don't know where she is spending those royalties
@HONGRYGORL I thought they still have descendants, relatives or their chosen charities that can benefit from the royalties

@@tylertremallose I didn’t even think about the vintage placement idea, I wonder if it was that. I just thought my camera seemed more focused on the audio of the instruments bc they seemed louder. But the vintage thing would make more sense, because those mics kinda condenses the vocals.
