I think they are getting smaller as well. I'm praying for change and relief for all who are struggling. Our rent is increasing in Dec to almost all of our income 😪 I really wish we could have purchased a home before 2020. Now the prices to buy a home are ridiculous. Hopefully, things get better sooner than later. 💞🙏🫂

I believe most of the drive through one's I go to are funded by the state, local stores donate their surplus they don't think they can sell before it goes bad, and I'm pretty sure they get a tax deduction for all the donations. Some are funded by churches. I'm not 💯 sure. Most of the ones you can go in and shop usually have a selection of frozen meat that has been donated by local stores. The stores mark it down to try to sell it, but if it doesn't sell then they freeze it and donate it to the food banks. I'm guessing they get a tax deduction as well. It does depend what you get in the area you live. Also the kind of stores that are donating the food. Also the amount of people that go for help. It could be tons or not that much. I have no food banks at all where I live!

My local high school has a food pantry cabinet in front of the school. I dropped the leftover candy today.

Just because a person has a new car doesn't mean they are rich or don't need help. I don't know about everyone in the US who gets good from the food bank. I would guess they need the food if they are going to get it. The drive-through ones I go to, I don't get to choose what I get. They just load my car, so many times I get food that my family won't be able to use. Thankfully, We have family and friends that we are able to bless with these items. Also, in the US, you do have to be under a certain income to qualify to go to these places. Thanks for watching. I hope I have helped answer your questions. 💞

I understand. But it wasn't a long line for me, and the ground beef was rain enough to go. The items we couldn't use were passed on, and families were very Greatful to receive them. Also there are food pantries you can go to shop and pick the items you want and can use, so you don't have to take things you can't use.
