I'm Claire Hannah, a TV and radio journalist with 25 years of broadcast experience in which I've reported live on some of the biggest stories in the Uk, including the Morecambe Bay cockling tragedy, Glasgow Clutha Helicopter crash, London Bombings, Hillsborough, and many more. I worked in commercial radio for 22 years, and have been working at ITV Granada for the past three.

Thomas Cashman was jailed for life for the murder of 9 year old Olivia Pratt-Korbel
Thomas Cashman was jailed for 42 years for the murder of 9 year old Olivia Pratt-Korbel, who was shot at her home in Dovecot, Liverpool in August 2022.
I saw him give evidence at his trial, his demeanour was very different from the Cashman we've seen in the excellent Channel 4 documentary Merseyside Detectives.
The jury didn't believe him, and he refused to come back in court as the judge jailed him for life.
Cashman was trying to kill drug dealer Joseph Nee, and fired through Olivia's front door as Nee ran in. A bullet went through Olivia's mum Cheryl's hand, and hit Olivia in the chest.
RIP that beautiful little girl 💗, and thoughts remain with her family.

War Horse in Salford.. so realistic, I look genuinely scared 🤣

Filming with War Horse and his creator Sir Michael Morpurgo ahead of the production showing in Salford later this year. The puppetry and horse are both incredible, you know it's not real but it seems real, even up close. Made me laugh when I watched this back and I was flinching away... It shouldn't have to be like this, BUT I spoke to Chas (MUFC), and Ted the Red (LFC) from each club's Disability Supporters Association. They've fought to improve access for disabled fans here, and are still fighting to improve access in Europe. I believe you had an S type Jag with a trailer in the pits ,, so many happy memories ,, I hope you continue to recover health wise and have a happy active life 🙏🙏
