Just rewatched this video. We are Disney and Celebrity loyalists. But, we are going to take a chance. We just booked a 13 day trip on Holland Oosterdam for the Aug 2026 Mediterranean solar eclipse cruise out of Lisbon. We know it will be a different atmosphere and experience than we are used to. Fingers crossed.

Can I use my Vera Bradley large duffle bag as a carry-on? I really don't want a checked bag.

On topic went to disney and rented a scooter down there and Ill tell you for one got tired of putting it in and out of the car the riding was nice but after over 8 hours in the park I begin to have back trouble now this one a 5 day trip it made me realize well If I ever were to get one def for me would be one with complete back support and sad the models they come out with be half the back support to none theoretically sun protection going to disney I wish they had no canopies or anything to help in that matter so I had to use a clip on umbrealla Overall I think anybody who wants one really need to take a trip and see what benefits them and what don't.

Hi ! May I ask what has happened with Scott Singer Cruise Travels if you know ? I can no longer find anything on UA-cam, and the last thing I remember is that Scott moved to Alaska..... Can you tell me if you felt any vibration from the prop been so far back. On the Island Princess back in 2012 I did a 12 day cruise from Barcelona to Venice and it was really bad. Last year I was on board the Caribbean Princess and paid extra to me more mid aft. I'm considering now a trip from FLL to Buenos Aires but not sure if I should book this category MD or go with MB. Perhaps my bad experience was on the Island Princess and I don't want a repeat for 18 days on this incoming cruise. Hope to hear your comment.

I'm considering the same cabin but concerned about vibration. I was on the Island Princess and the aft cabins had a horrible seriously vibration issues. Can you tell me if you felt some vibration. Thanks.

Be careful if flying Copa Airlines. They pried open my scooter control unit, for an unexplained reason. This shorted out my scooter control board resulting in it needing to be replaced. Copa then only awarded 70% of scooter cost, as an International flight.

My land is first for my land cruise. When do I send my bag to the ship? (Meet me at the ship) when I get to Fairbanks from the airport when we get to lodge that night or before we go to next lodge location?

I have a Buzzaround EX by Golden Tech. The shocks sure came in handy for all the cobblestones in Europe. I had a Pride mobility scooter previously and even the cobblestones at Disneyland beat me up.

You keep saying you're dressed very casually but you look so dressed up to me ... casual to me is jeans and a tshirt ... you do look comfortable, relaxed, and how pretty you are. Arlynn, when you tear up, it makes me tear up, too ... not because I have lost a child but because I can see, at times, how much you are still hurting. :( Parents should not outlive our children but we cannot control what happens so my prayers continue for you. I'm not sure I'll ever go on another cruise line (besides Princess) but I do so appreciate you sharing your travels with us so we can get a taste of what's out there. Take care sweet lady.

I was supposed to take the Ruby Princess to Hawaii from Seattle back in October 2020 but it got canceled because of covid, I read your Hawaii blog like crazy and commented on it. So long ago!)

I am hoping there will be enough room in the cabin for the scooter. How do you charge the scooter in your cabin ? And how long does it take to charge ? I am on the Regal now Arlynn, and I walked by this stateroom. It is a pretty nice location isn’t it, kind of tucked away. I am staying just one floor above this on deck 14. The Regal sure is gorgeous. I love this ship.

What month was your cruise in? I'm going mid June, 2024.

We own our own scooters, but they are too big for the standard cabins. On our cruise to Hawaii, we were unable to get an accessible cabin. (They sell out quickly) We rented two scooters from Scootaround on Princess to Hawaii. Easy Peasy. You fill out the form online with which scooter you need, you select your ship and your date, and it populates everything you need. You pay the rate, and you are good to go. The scooters were sitting in our stateroom when we arrived, and we just left them in the room on debarkation day. As you did, we took the arms off and put them on the top shelf in the closet. We were able to put one scooter in the closet, and put the other scooter against the unopening part of the balcony door. Since the batteries were removable, we pulled them off the scooters and plugged them in when needed.

Finally got to catch up on watching VLOGs! Hope y’all had a fabulous trip! Our thoughts & prayers are with you all and we know how hard it is to overcome sudden loss. Stay strong, it will get easier. They are still in our hearts & memories everyday. 🥰🙏🏼🥰

I would love some advice! Please! If I need a mobility aid for anything longer then 100 feet approximately am I better off to rent a scooter when I get to Mexico and use a wheelchair in the airport. Or renting a mobility scooter and flying with it to Mexico. I’m new to this. I’m 39 and really need help.
