Katie did my first tattoos. She's amazing!
Not a single black person on the panel.
It’s gone massively downhill since this was published you get teenagers playing loud music around the place it’s horrendous I don’t go into PW anymore
Here’s what council tax is - it’s money that goes into making stupid videos like this to tell us all what council tax is. Pathetic. How about actually doing something useful with this money that we have no choice to pay? For example, sorting out the roads? The reason that you get nothing done is because no one holds you lot to account. When something doesn’t provide a good service, typically you stop paying money to it - but then you lot threaten legal action. If you actually achieved anything useful, I wouldn’t mind paying
We had a Nursery on Seven Mile Lane call 'Brookside Nursery' from the late 1950's until my father passed away, I remember people like Charlie Stevens a local farmer, also the Shire horses on holiday in a paddock on Hale St...my mother and I sold the nursery in 1969 and we moved to Australia.
Love what these guys do. And Sophie looks like a really lovely person, big up to you Soph….. 😊
🌹 *Promosm*
Lovely place. I used to live here as a child in the 60's. I loved it as it was a village in those days. The church seemed to be the only means of entertainment and life was happy and the people so friendly. I left in the early 80's to get married. I loved Barsleys as my mum always bought my clothes from there, even their furniture!! I have returned several times and it has changed quite a bit but like all places they can never be the same!!
I'm sharing this with my daughters. Working with your hands in the dirt, mud, clay etc. is good:)
before all the new houses and people came in, paddock wood was a lovely place and everyone pretty much knew everyone.
It’s a dump A very boring place to live
Mate it's one of the best places to live and now days is very clean
In reality Paddock Wood is deeply conservative and is riddled with some really nasty folk. Lived here for 33 years and have witnessed many horrors.
Alright pal bloody hell
I lived there in the late 90s early 00s when at Mascalls. Can confirm its a Tory nightmare. The worst kind of Tories who earn just the same as anyone else but demand Waitrose and sell Amway
Had some racist stuff said to me within 5 minutes of going there, it was shocking.
Beautiful gardens but some moved the camera so fast it was hard to watch and most of the music took away from the video.
Music has to go. Almost unwatchable. Needs to have some human commentary, tell us about the plants and gardens.
Please get rid of the music. Not necessary. Really a turn off.
Gorgeous
Tunbridge Wells is one of the most boring places I've ever lived, second only to Weston-Super-Mare. Boring, boring, boring. And pricey. And the pubs were sh*t, and there was only one club. And that club was crap. Things might have changed now, haven't been there for 22 yrs. No plans to do so.
Beautiful beautiful gardern sister wells bahamas
Beautiful garden...but that music.........
Thanks for sharing William, useful information.
Thanks for this :)
How many residents do you expect to see this video?
Richard Williams - "the disquiet in some quarters"? You are joking, surely. You are either wholly out of touch with public opinion or very good friends with the Council or its Councillors!
The Council are Blind its going down hill sorry to say it looks like a cheap jack town thats broken
Ha! I thought it might just be populated by white, middle class, middle-aged men until the last moment! Extra points for including the chap talking about the wide demographic of people!
Love the sarcasm 😂😂
This is TWBC best propaganda so far. No shops. Increasing homelessness problem. Low wages. Rent is on par with LONDON. The roads are in a shocking state. Litter everywhere. Lack of investment into young residents. Bad communication from the council. An almost dead night life. Terribly expensive pubs. If you want to eat out you have the option between Turkish... And Italian. Stuck up people who believe they own the town. Commercialised Town with independent shops about to leave completey. Lived here nearly 25 years and its only got worst. But thankyou TWBC for creating this misleading video and promoting it to the world. Almost ever person in the video looks like they are been held at gun point. Comparing Tunbridge Wells to Birmingham City center well obviously it's going to be more appealing. The only positive points you have mentioned is School Countryside Transport Links Mixed demographic You can actually find all those points in many many many other towns across the country. How about making a video on what the towns missing and what you are going to do about it?
My favourite thing about living in TW is how the rents are similar to a London borough, but you get half the travel options and wages are super low! Come here if you already have LOADS of cash, otherwise you might find yourself stuck in a studio flat making minimum wage to keep the posh tits happy.
