Tank controls' movement is relative to Lara, the modern controls' movement is relative to the environment. In tank, you push forward and Lara will go forward no matter which direction she is pointing and is independent of the camera. I've been playing modern games for 20 years, and even I got used to tank controls. It works for this game engine, and it will feel easier as you play. I did remap the buttons though. I made jump X, walk square, draw weapons left trigger, and changed the dead zone and sensitivity to suit me so I can use the left stick to run around. I'm new to these games, and enjoying them (using tank) and now 1/3 way thru the second game. Enjoy!

Still playing catch-up on watching these VOD's (thank you sooooo much my work days have been incredibly "lost in the spreadsheets mines" these days!) and I wonder if adding a fishing mod might be charming with that huge lake? It means that if you have a big colony, you may get overwhelmed with extra fishy proteins, BUT it might be fun to build some docks and fishing areas for RP purposes!

Fun fact about the DLC! The Afterbirth DLC released around the same time as a community mod that went by a similar name: Anti-birth. This mod was amazing and changed the game in new and fun ways that a lot of people prefered it over Afterbirth. The creator/dev of Isaac decided to work with those modders to officially incorporate the Anti-birth mod into TBOI. And so the Repentance DLC was made as a final iteration of the game. It's not every day that a creator hires modders to be official devs for a game!
