If you pulled the backing off that way with automotive tint, you'd have the sticky side out, so I guess household tint must have the backing on the opposite side of the adhesive side compared to automotive tint!

I'm looking for work now that I've acquired all my tools and a established a good relationship with my film distributor in town. Now i've got a few reps in applying tint by doing family members homes. Do you have recommendations on how to get clients in the community? I'm pretty much going door to door in shopping strips.

Glad your hand is on the mend mate. I'm a pro installer working n living in southern Spain. Been fitting film since 1989. I had carpul tunnel opp on both hands. The left hand left me with severe nerve damage. Took 3 years for the correction opp. I lost all confidence in tinting as I couldn't feel the film in my left hand. Back on the tools again. Happy days.
