You mean the one on Twinkle Circuit? There might be something in Steam Workshop to remove the hover cart noise (that engine winding noise), but as far as I know, there isn’t.

Gael Ureta That’s normal. Don’t worry, just keep trying until Big says “something’s biting”. Also, lure upgrades allow for bigger fish to be caught, not make it easier to catch Froggy.

No. Technically, you answered your own question. This game can be handled very easily with Intel integrated graphics cards. However, as with any game, it’s better to have an actual graphics card. Since this game (DX: Director’s Cut) was released on GameCube and PC back in 2003, you can use a cheap modern graphics card just fine. That being said, if you wanted to use mods, any decent graphics card will work.

McBean 56545 No, they should be there. It might be an option when you start the game up, I honestly don’t remember. But I don’t think they removed it, if it was in the game to begin with.

@@The_Spectre_Gamer I had played the PS3 and Steam ports, both of which have missing reflections in the water. I call it reflections, but it's more along the lines of refraction honestly. It just distorts things inside and outside of the water. Stand in front of the pool in Station Square in the GameCube version, and you will see a subtle outline around Sonic that looks like a reflection in the water. I guess they broke it when they tried to port the game to modern hardware.

+albatross990 To this day, my original (CD Disk for PC) progress from like 8 years ago is long gone. My current data only has some Chao Emblems, but I do have all A Ranks (no brainer). But that one mission can go fuck itself. It's fucking damn near impossible. Because of that, I haven't even touched any of the missions since I got the Steam version. I'm sure if I got the Xbox Arcade version, I would absolutely spent DAYS completing it, just so I could perfect the game. SA2 is much harder though. I've only ever finished getting all A Ranks for Tails, Knuckles, and Rouge. Sonic and Shadow were hard as fuck. Eggman had one annoying stage, but I can't remember which one. Anyways, the only thing you get for getting all the Emblems (currently) is the ability to play as Metal Sonic in Trial, but it's just a Sonic re-skin. Side Note: I'm actually debating as to whether or not I should either start doing playthroughs and/or sprite animations again. But not for another few months since I'm moving out (finally), heading off to college, and actually getting my own personal desktop, with no one to fuck it up. I would love to play SA2, Sonic Heroes, and Dead Space 3 in the future, but for now, I'm in no position to do so.

I was actually about to watch your MP2 play-through for a trip down memory lane. As for your animations I haven't seen them so I'm going to to check those out if they're on your channel.

The steam version DOES NOT have the minigames, unfortunately. The mini games are only available for the retail disk version. These are hard to find these days (I do have them, but my computer won't run them). So unfortunately, no minigames.

NicRenee Khaw I played in a window at 1080p. The purple bars only appear in fullscreen mode. and recording. The purple bars disappear when recording the game in a window. I would play SA 2 on PC, but I can't record anymore due to my computer being a piece of shit (hence I haven't uploaded in months. I'm still sitting on ME 2 and ME 3 I finished, but my computer is too far gone for me to upload, and my Surface Pro takes too long. I'll think of something in the future, but I hope I can get it all worked out before Arhkam Knight is released.

Yeah, I might redo this at some point. The flames definitely need some work, just hard to find decent looking flames that are realistic. But the tough part is filtering colors. I'll have to manually outline the flames after the filter so it doesn't have the gray outline. Might even make the background shift slower than the main set.
