Boats 'n Bows Florida Outdoor Adventures

This channel is all about outdoor adventures in Florida. We love all sorts of fishing, hunting, hiking, fossiling, paddle boarding, camping and more! We catch fish anywhere from tiny creeks to miles offshore and everywhere in between, we scout for and hunt deer and hogs on public land with the longbow, we sift for prehistoric shark teeth and ice age fossils, we visit springs and have a great time exploring. There are always fun and amazing adventures to experience in this beautiful place. I don't claim to be an expert on anything - this is all about sharing the neat things we do.
Bryce Canyon National Park - Utah - Hiking Peekaboo Loop Trail - July 2024
We recently went on an incredible trip out west. It was my first time being out there, and we visited and went hiking at several of our National Parks. Everything was so beautiful and different from Florida. This video is from our visit to Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. We hiked the Peekaboo Loop trail. Peek-a-boo is approximately 5 miles long, and starts (and ends) at over 8000 feet of elevation, with some significant changes is elevation along the way. Being accustomed to sea level, I was definitely feeling the effects of the altitude on this hike. This hike was in early July 2024, the weather was hot and sunny, but very dry. I have a few more videos from this trip on the way!

Prairie Dog Antics from Hatch, Utah - July 2024

I set the camera up outside of a Prairie Dog burrow and left it for about an hour on our recent trip out to Utah, just to see what it might catch. We don't have these guys anywhere around my place here in Florida, so seeing all of their curious little activities was pretty cool.

A super shallow creek through the Florida swamp is the perfect place to test out my homemade DIY adjustable jackplate for the tiny outboard on our aluminum jonboat and have some fun catching a cooler full of catfish at the same time! For less than $75 bucks in materials, the plate is fully adjustable and let's the boat slide over just about any submerged obstruction and sandbar.

Offshore Fishing Tampa Bay - Panga - April 2024

Maikel and I pick a beautiful day to make a run offshore of Tampa Bay to go fishing at some new spots that we marked in the Panga. We catch snapper, grouper, amber jack, triggerfish and more, plus did some filming underwater to see what the bottom looks like.

My son and I on a quick 2-day springtime trip to the everglades, fishing for exotics, microfishing, and camping at Burn's Lake. We catch oscar, jaguar, acara, jewel, and mayan cichlids, pike killifish, see alligators, and camp out of our home built truck bed camp set up.
