Heydrich‘s Path has a really deep meaning if you think about it. He starts as the radical successor option for Hitler (and Himmler‘s lapdog), then gets drawn into the „inner Circel“ of Himmel for his Doomsday Plans and starts to oppose Himmler, because he draws his moral line at the thought of the destruction of the earth. After that, the more and more the SS Civil War drags on and Heydrich gains more and more ally‘s against Himmler, he has the option to talk and collaborate with rebelling slaves and the newly freed polish (if free poland won the civil war),even tho he still see‘s them as „Untermenschen“. He starts to have an pragmatic view and works with them to ensure that he defeats Himmler. Big part of that is the role of Speidel (and his moderate views) in his path, which is arguably his biggest role in the entire mod. And in the end when he defeats Himmler, Heydrich starts to have doubts about National Socialism (because most of what he learnt came from Himmler) and comes to the conclusion that Aryans are not superior and that Hitler was not this „infallible being“ everyone thought he was. He cannot live with the fact that do to him millions of germans and other people died for nothing so he kills himself.
