It could've been much worse. I hear the pilot escaped about 1/4 of an inch shorter, with compression fractures in the L1&2 vertebrae and he was a little more cracked in the back side afterwards. He probably heard at some point while he was learning to fly, that you have to really bust your a## to be a good pilot. He seems to have taken it literally.😆
Yep -- the real Cub, regardless of what you be see in the Flying Farmer acts , or the airplane stolen by the drunk, etc. will snap at slow speeds (what's fast in a Cub...!!??😂) and get you killed- it is never flown solo from the front seat, either.
Lovely cub. Tail heavy warning signs began straight after lift off. Best option would have been to immediately reduce or cut power and take whatever landing you could. Thanks for posting this. Was it repairable?
When the aeroplane is tail heavy, then steep turns are the worse thing you can do. Keep the power on, the nose down and make the best landing you can asap.
Check the CG before you fly.
Nobody passed you out
Wow very very beautiful rever and very very nice view, watching from Manila Philippines
TAIL HEAVY AL THE WAY
Tail heavy and a bit under powered
The problem with full-scale R/C models is that they flight exactly like the real ones.
Its called a STALL ! DUH !
Schade 🤷
Was a beautiful cub what a shame
Tail heavy planes do not fly😢

A very typical spin. Though the PA 18 is a legend, the flight characteristics at the limits are not too comfortable.
Another idiot. What a waste of a beautiful J3
Aside from all that, how's the pilot doing?
Aft CG means the faster you go, the harder you pull the better the stall, snap and spin. 😂
Stalls and spins just like the big ones…hope the pilot recovers….😢.
Thought he had a stunt-plane, I see!!
The very last step to building an airplane is God forbid the easiest and fastest, yet so many people dont!
Flying a Cub like it's a Pitts will get you into trouble.
More like crash. I thought it was going to crush that stall, but it crashed instead.
wenn man natürlich nicht weiß was der Schwerpunkt an einem Fluggerät bedeutet, dann kommt sowas dabei raus. Einfach nur ahnungslos...........
well done
Throwing a model around the sky might sound like fun, but if you overdo it, sh*t happens..:)
Need some more spin/stall training.
nahhh.... more like introduction to importance of weight and balance
Expensive bird..dang.
Don't you guys know how to check the CG?
I see an untapped market for RC airport emergency fire trucks.
GREAT Capture! can i use this as part of my series? you will be credited in the description and video❤❤👍👍
Haaa foi falta de dedo. Vai fazer acrobacia com avião escala treinador
Might want to learn to fly....
How many survivors?

If it was tail heavy the CG must have been wrong, it should usually be around 30% back from the leading edge of a straight wing.
💦 *promo sm*
Ailerons hard-over. Exactly the wrong thing to do in this situation.

I had full up elevator, and full aileron but it just flew into the ground
Was the pilot killed??
Yess 😢
Classic tail heavy
Yes, looked that way to me also. Veteran RC pilot here, know the signs.
With the engine running so poorly on the ground…the airplane had no business taking off!
CG too far rear

Tad tail heavy…..just a tad.
Tail heavy
The whole flight was a stall waiting to happen
Aft CG, poor trim. Should have cut power and dead sticked down.
Pilot brain fart...
That Cub was tail heavy. Nose heavy planes don’t fly well tail heavy planes fly once.
It CRUSHED! 😁😁
😂😂😂
Start with using a mixer ailerons rudder. 100% . The flying was shameful bad due to all the turning with adverse yaw. Absolutely unnessary crash.
