For everyone who has the problem: 1. Buy a new controller, 2.unscrew your controller and readjust the joy stick, 3. Turn the joy con sensitivity lower on the game

Drift joycone
Yea sticks are drifting but the dead zone is higher in regular game play than in picking locks.
Since It's on the Switch, the first thing that comes to mind is obviously Joy - Con drift, but it seems like this is only happening with the lockpicks, so idk what it is

Yeah I experienced this bug too. Even on my pro controller. Just stop and try to lock pick again. That's what I do everytime this bug happens.
Did u watch the full video? He stops and tries again 3 times and it keeps happening. I just bought the digital copy of the game I haven't gotten very far yet but luckily I haven't experienced this issue.

@@lucifeers3219 with heavy use over time the switch joycons slighty loosen/break causing the switch’s system to detect movement from the sticks even though you’re not moving it whenever you’re playing a game. We call it “Joycon Drift” (it can happen with any controller tho)
@@skylarksinera no i have no problem with the joycon, I played the game perfectly without my character looking around like an idiot. It just happen when I start lockpicking
