Ironic for me that I played the second game first and the first game second, but ultimately stuck with the first game more. Although the custom characters in number 2 was a lot better

LEGO Marvel Superheroes 1, no contest, no debate. The Roster of X-Men/mutants, Fantastic Four, Inhumans, GOTG, The Avengers, Spider-Man, All their respective villains SO SO GOOD, however some abilities and characters are repeated quite a lot. Original Storyline/Voice acting LEVEL just worked far better in the first game compared to the 2nd. The level design and pacing of unlocking characters is done extremely well, that ending is so cinematic my god. Too much MCUism in Marvel Superheroes 2 it takes away from it's uniqueness, hub world i hated too much going on, but Dr Strange, Captain America, Hulk, Ms Marvel, Moon Knight and Black Panther, oh and all the GOTG were my favourite characters. I hated the UI and general design of the 2nd game. I don't really care for The Avengers game apart from the 2 films and the Avengers characters everyone else i never played as, again I'd rather just watch the respective movies.

there's 4 points of note in the Hubworld besides the part that's main OG New York. Manhattan Noir. Sakaar. Hydra City. And Knowhere. all of these are relatively visually distinct from each other and have something unique about them. the rest is *painfully* generic. down to Neuvo York being a blatant recolor of Hydra City without any of the charm and cool dystopian vibes.

I prefer first game the map is amazing New York is a good pick as of 2 it bashes up into one and had a problem. It to messy as of 1st one it pretty simple but that just me

Lego marvel sh 1 is the most nostalgic lego game for me and i love the characters, i mean i think some changes in characters in lego marvel sh2 because of mcu are better but i realy miss f4 and x men even though we have so many other characters, for me reworks of the characters are good but lack of characters is bad Story mode is awesome in both but sh1 has way better vibe imo Hub world definietely sh2 its so beautiful i cant. Even though it is kinda empty i still think its the best hub world in lego games Sh2 also have the best game mechanics and animations Honestly this is really close but i would give it to sh2 even though if i had a choice of playing only one for the rest of my life i would choose first game because of nostalgia and vibe

I would go for 100% but my game is buggy on the switch and I have to replay levels 3 times for it to register my minkit and stan lee rescues
