I’ve completely ruined my college life. Ran away from my sport I was passionate about for 5 years due to not believing in myself. I’ve been deeply depressed for the entire year and this fall some people I used to hang around turned on me. They started being rude and acting like I was some sort of predator. Now a month ago while drunk someone asked me who I’d fuck in the group even though I didn’t want to say anything. I said a man and a woman there even though I’m straight but idk even know about that anymore. In embarrassment I then asked my other friend (who probably also hates me) who he’d anally rape to make him be more embarrassed. They then sent me to the police in response and while I was waiting I was saying “I fucked up” and “I deserve this” I fucking hate myself (not because of doing this but because I truly do hate myself). I then was freaking out for the past month about this. I cannot think of anything else. I left the social circle because I think they think I’m some sexual predator. Whenever the see me they laugh. I’m truly an arrogant person but I crave connection with others but constantly run away the second things get weird. My old track partner who is at a D1 school (we were like brothers and wanted to run at the same school but due to my anxiety I underperformed due to overtraining) I cannot talk to him. My depression and overthinking has ruined my life, gpa, friend group, EVERYTHING. I even contemplated suicide because I feel worthless. When I was younger my father beat me a lot because he was layed off and that was the start of my anxious nature. I’m hypersensitive to anything that goes wrong and I completely flip out. People think I’m violent even though I truly don’t want to hurt anyone. Doesn’t help that I’m athletic. I also say out of pocket things for no reason even though I don’t want to. I’ve destroyed my reputation and avoid people. I think people think I’m autistic I don’t fucking know. I’ve tried to make more friends but what’s the point. I don’t care about female attention, I already have that, even though it’s all superficial because of the hair I grown (again from depression because I didn’t cut it when I was wallowing). It now makes me feel better because at least I can be better than the people who were mocking me all of last year. But at the same time I don’t really care about that. All I care about is being useful but I’m practically worthless now. I’m an underperforming student at my university because every semester I completely lose my fucking mind.
