It is Garmin BC 30 wireless camera, and its matching receiver power cable. The product is unavailable now. You might try the newer versions such as BC 50. You could try to cut the cigarette adaptor and re-wire the cord with a USB adaptor if you are knowledgeable handyman. I tried a few times to re-wire my head phones when the connections broke, the odd of success and reliability was very low. So I no longer try this thing anymore. I don't know about the product in your link. I guess the part with a dead end is the antenna. On the power cable that comes with the backup camera set, there is an enlarged section. This is the antenna that receives traffic signal and images from the camera and send them to the GPS display. So you have to use this new power cord.

The wired camera needs more work. You'll still install camera and drill holes to put cables inside, one cable to connect to reverse power. Then you'll have to run another cable through the wall or floor in the cabin to reach a screen on the dashboard. A lot more work that I don't like.

I don't have experience on this. Good luck to you. Some people run under floor mat. Some people run through side panel. Both involve a lot of work and have exposed cable around the dash board. That's why I chose wireless type, in which the cable is hidden inside the panel of the back door.

The wireless camera and signal receiving cable are packed in two boxes. Some websites sell them separately. Look carefully if the price is much lower that this one. Make sure it does give you both, not just the camera without the receiving cable. This receiving cable is required to charge and supply image to the GPS. regular GPS power cable won't receive signal from the camera.

@@yinghongcao3275 Yes. It is about 5 inches below the tail light. It is about 2 inches wide and 3/4 inches tall. You can easily drill through that. Pull back the inside trunk area plastic panel and you should be able to fish a wire to it.

It's "wireless" between the back of the car and the display unit in the cockpit. At 5:20 he shows you where the transmitter is.

You may need a handyman to help. Simple version: you peer off the skin of both wires and wrap/tie the naked wires together, then wrap them with electric tape (black) to prevent shortage. Official version: you buy the wire connecting plugs or solder them together, then wrap with tapes.

That's how it works here. My memory about the wiring is fading away, can't tell you why. Sorry.

Maybe. The principle shall remain same. You may install it above the license plate on the left, not centered, but still gives you a helpful back view when backup. The key point is to safely remove the plastic panel of the tail door and the light assembly on the rear right side. Good luck if you decide to try.

Successful, except found it very difficult to remove the liner. I got the smaller ones off, then drilled a small hole in the back liner and "fished' the wires through. just have to patch the hole as invisibly as possible. Had a busy afternoon, but got it done!

Ground connection is for high voltage 120V or higher. This is a small voltage 12V electronic device. I believe it doesn't need a ground connection. Actually, even many devices, such as computer charger that uses 120 V power, only have two pins, which means the ground connection is not connected even you have it in the extension cord or wall socket.

10 mm wrench socket to unscrew the door handle. The screws on the CR-V are all in metric unit.
