    It is time to get right with Jesus. You aren’t going to automatically enter into heaven if you have lied or stolen or had premarital sex. Even one of those makes you worthy of hell fire. Don’t deceive yourself! The punishment of sin is hell fire. Jesus died so you can get a clean slate and forgiveness of a future sin when we confess it. When you start to follow him you have to strive to obey what he commands. No one will enter heaven without the blood of Jesus over you. No other way but through Jesus.

      We are not divine God is, but we have a will that is infinite (as we can do an infinite amount of things), and since love is divine and infinite in it's value, we have the capacity for divinity through our will when we choose to love. When you love your soul adheres to divinity. So we aren't divine but we have the capacity for divinity through love, which was communicated to us first from God, and the cross implies that we can respond and love back God and others, outside of love is hell which makes sense, but that's the leverage broken down philosophically, also implying heaven can be experienced on earth through love as can be hell without it, and you need other people in order to love that is why it is not good for man to be alone he needs relationships in order to love and that is where authentic goodness can be found in relationships and love

    I think if people are only moral and good because they believe in god, then those people are either immoral(Unlikely) or dishonest(Likely). Like if it takes a god to tell you to stop murdering people then by all means, KEEP BELIEVING. The reality is, people pick and choose morals from the bible based on their own innate moral predispositions in which we all have through evolution, experience and cultural upbringing. There is a reason we no longer believe in slavery anymore and it is because of reasoned and seasoned arguments over-time which ultimately drove us to abolish slavery and yet it is still in the bible. Now people just say, oh thats the old testament - we dont believe in that anymore. But guess what, it is IN the bible. People like to think morals came from the idea of god but that isn't true at all. It might be that religion(s) has embedded these morals into their own versions of their religions - Muslim, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and paint a different narrative behind it etc but the fact that we all share these morals despite our different religions implies that absent a religion, these innate morals would still exist and we choose a religion based on our cultures, upbringing and whichever fits us best. So whether you believe or not, morality has more to do with what framework it takes in your life but outside of that, it is simply a container and label e.g. Christianity - where people can associate with to guide their life whether you believe in god or not. You're not more moral if you believe in a god, if that is true then why do Atheistic countries (NOT COMMUNIST ONES) have less crime and less violence. E.g. Iceland, Switzerland. I'm not saying atheists are more moral than religious people, im saying the notion that if people stopped believing in god, then they would start murdering people or will lose their way is wrong and the stats don't support this. Humans have innate moral predispositions, and religion is a reflection rather than the cause of these predispositions. Some people need it, some people don't.

    • @jplovecchio6346
      @jplovecchio6346 2 роки тому

      People aren't only moral and good bc they believe in a God, I sure wasn't and the devils sure aren't even though they believe in God, Jesus said regarding those people outside of religion, "if the law was written on their heart they were justified." And that is what the church teaches, it comes down to love, (not belief) selfless altruistic love, we simply believe that christ is the love that holds the fabric of the universe together so to turn to him is to turn to more of that, love. You can be saved by christ whether or not your aware He's saving you. Since every being strives to preserve its own existence than the greatest good whether or not you believe in a God, is clearly the preserving of the existence of a being, ie life not death, that's the natural order, the super natural would be God the provider of existence to all and existence in and of itself, God is therefore the greatest supernatural good, beyond and more than natural good bc he supplies the natural with existence itself which the natural strives for and many religions recognize

      I’d personally recommend you to read the book ,,The Soul’s Upward Yearning” by Robert Spitzer. It’s a book about arguments we can derive from logic and reason that point to the existence of God. I’m not saying you have to read it or anything, it just sounds that you’ve thought a lot about these things you’ve written about, which is great, and this book might give you a different perspective to think about on the matter of necessity and existence of religion, without claiming the Bible as a source for any claims in that book, it’s based purely on logic and human experience. Maybe you’ll find it an interesting book to read.

      Dear Kakinou, I understand where you're coming from, there have been so many atrocities committed under the name of God over the centuries that to someone looking in on the outside it must seem Christianity is phoney and just an excuse to gain power, riches and rule over people through fear and intimidation! But that doesn't come close or even touch what real Christianity is! If, without making value judgments before hand you read about Christ in the New Testament you'll get a completely different view of the Savior. The only time Christ ever showed anger was when he was dealing with the hypocrites. People who fake goodness but underneath are selfish, liars and sometimes do terrible things to others! I believe you've encountered such individuals and that's why you feel as you do! I urge you to seach for true Christianity and I pray God will reach down His hand to you and help you find Him!

      @@yannis8418 The thing to understand here is that societies DO judge what is right and wrong in them. They do this whether you like it or not. Some societies have very different views on what is right and wrong than others do. The main problem of course is that with the current systems of government we have, it is quite possible for a small group to take over a large group, and impose their demented ideals on everyone there. Nowhere in this process does a god actually enter into it, though in many places, people claim they know the will of god and then try to promote that agenda on everyone. There are also many gods to choose from, now and in the past. And many people claiming to know what god wants. Some of these ideas are more widely accepted than others are. But there are also many people with ideas that don't involve god. Some of these are also good ideas and some of them are bad. Good and bad is of course always relative to how you have been raised and what you have learned, mostly as a child but also as an adult later.
