I suggest you get a MacBook Air skin. It covers everything, top, bottom, and the area on either side of the trackpad, and protects it from finger prints, etc. They make them clear and easy to put on and you can't even tell. I do agree, the fingerprints are a bit of an issue, but don't be discouraged, I'm planning to get a skin for my Midnight as well.
