Folk to the Folks collects the individual narratives of Rajasthani folk artists and attempts to preserve their cultural, historical and social stance. It highlights their role in the survival of the state's folk art.
The Rajasthani folk art and media industry has been criticized and underpaid since the 2000s, discouraging people from practicing the art. The art has been in jeopardy for years now. This project aims to preserve their stories, understand the folk art they practice, and highlight the imperative for Rajasthani folk art to endure.
