It’s such a simple solution….I don’t know why it has never occurred to me to just put a small magnet directly onto the screwdriver. 🤦🏼‍♂️ I’ve always been using screwdrivers that were either already magnetic, or if not, I would magnetize them with a small magnetizing/demagnetizing tool. I just happened to notice your technique while looking for disassembly info so I can do a CPU cooler re-paste. Thanks, man!

I have a slightly different Pioneer mixer and struggled getting the fader component out. It seemed to be held on by 2 points in between the pins that looked like solder, but didn't want to melt with the iron. I removed the solder on the pins on each end of the fader and wedged it out with flathead screwdriver from there, bending the metal bracket holding the fader in the process. I'm commenting in case anyone has the same issue, the bracket holding the slider bent back to position fairly easily even though wedging them out was difficult and my decks are working fine now. Appreciate the honest review!I received this as a present and while i enjoy the concept,i agree with your review and also 1)No matter how firm i have it stuck on the wall,when you punch it,the recoil feeling is jiggly and not firm on the wall. 2)The Sounds are distracting and would be nice if you can adjust this on an app or something. 3)I have a nice speaker i would've preferred to have the music blasting on instead of this device but i haven't found a way to connect the sound to my speaker but the device to my phone to pick the songs at the same time. 4)I could be wrong but the sensors feel inconsistent.I try to hit hard and in the center always but sometimes it reads and sometimes it doesn't. I don't mind using this till it breaks down for now because it's still fun for cardio then afterwards i can find a nicer version.Any recommendations?

Does it work with DS 423+ as well bc Ds 920+ is working according to github but for me it didn't worked :( It says i's not copatible with my dsm or the dsm version if I want to upload the driver manually. Maybe DSM 7.2.2 doesn't work that well?

If this is hung on the wall, how does it affect the wall when you have a kid punching it all the time? If it is flush with the wall, is the wall not getting banged in to, with each hit? Padded things to hit, yes, but each hit has to bang into the wall, so how do you protect the wall? What if the child misses and plows into the wall and hits a 2x4? Could break his hand! Just needing some advise! Thanks!

Bought a faulty controller which has some corrosion on all of the faders so going to replace them. This video has helped on my confidence to repair them - I've soldered a fair bit in school but not done it for 10 years now. Hopefully my cheap £25 soldering iron from amazon will do the job
