Please be warned: that model of the CH341A programmer has a design flaw that puts 5V through the BIOS chip, not 3.3V. You may get away with using it and not frying the chip, but you are taking a risk.

12:40 I find it interesting how many people suggest wiping out the primary SVS store. Normally there are two of them, and beyond storing the firmware password, plus maybe diagnostic and hardware info, I don’t think we know the side effects of deleting the whole primary store (even though this is may be the simplest solution). In my experience, the secondary store is often empty, so one could possibly just copy the second store over the primary store which should still leave you with two valid SVS store structures. Otherwise, a donor ROM or the .fd file from a macOS update might have an example of a blank SVS store. Some technical work may be required, but with a tool like UEFITool, it’s very doable. I think MacEFIToolkit can even remove the EFI lock from an SVS store and leave everything else intact. In short, wiping out the primary SVS store seems overly aggressive compared to the actual need, with possible unintended effects down the road.

I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is. For example 1:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 3:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation tho
