I know a lot of people might know him best for Dragon Ball or Dragon Quest, and I absolutely adore DQ, Chrono Trigger, and more. And I want to fully watch Dragon Ball someday too. But I have so many memories spent playing Blue Dragon, it touched me a lot.

This game is so perfect. I instantly fell in love with all its characters and design elements but never knew why until a few years ago. The mf goat himself Akira Toriyama was the lead designer for the game. Forever my inspiration🙏🏽💯

Playing it right now again, undersea cavern is my absolute favorite “level”, I’m sad the pretty/magical levels are so short. I still don’t like the hospital ruins or the creepy levels.🥺
