We Share Solar is the educational program of We Care Solar, a non-profit organization based in Berkeley, California. www.wesharesolar.org

We Share Solar and All Points North Foundation: Lighting Up Solar STEM Education in Minnesota

With support from All Points North Foundation, We Share Solar worked with 6 Middle Schools in the greater Minneapolis area to launch its hands-on solarSTEM program. Teachers were trained in the curriculum which culminates in having students assemble Solar Suitcases and LED lighting systems that will be deployed to energy scarce schools and refugee settlements in Kenya and Uganda.

This video shows you how to strip the insulation on the wires of your 10 watt solar panel if they are not already. We also demonstrate how to determine which wire is positive and which is negative. You may not need to do the step where he removes the sheathing, depending on what the wires are like coming from your Solar Panel.
