Pastor Steve: Interesting to hear. Interesting perspective on the the living/dying/re-birth/re-growth. Must admit I've always thought of it just as continual growth (other than for financial planning purposes, I don't contemplate death). Diane and I are always slightly wistful ourselves this time of year, as it is often around the time (+/- a week or 2) we'd come back to see Nat/Tricia/little ones and at least a couple of those years we made the Fall Festival and really enjoyed it. Our own Church does not happen to do such a thing... probably the big event there is Julefest!! But the pies are important there too!!!! Were we there, I would be getting multiple pieces of pie I am sure!!! Not surprisingly its great to have the Christmans only a 3.5 hr drive from us... we've celebrated many more milestones together with them so close. That said, Oak Grove was magical for the little ones and all the activities! Big play area in back... lots of running around had a semin together... darts, bows, ball playing, bee-raising, garden produce, BIG fires! THAT version of Oak Grove lives strong in our memories, but we enjoy watching (unfortunately from afar) the on-going cycle. We missed a couple weeks of services as we were on a roadtrip, but folded back into it last week. Noted you were on paper, not tablet.... I used to make speeches for my job and ALWAYS preferred paper in hand.... the rest of the technology can go south - even power - but paper in hand remains viable (if things are so bad the paper goes, there are probably bigger things to worry over!!). Anyway, I don't do all that much UA-cam but had a seminar and saw reference to your video, so popped on. Take Care and God Bless. The Other Steve

Pastor Saylor made the comment that some find his voice to be too loud. I just wanted to comment that I had to turn up the volume several times during the sermon because he spoke so softly. I don't find his voice to be too loud, so I hope he can go back to speaking in his normal tone. I am so glad that he is able to help out while you look for a new pastor. Diane Feller
