Hi Mitul, The only experiences I had with Mastersound is during trade shows in their demo rooms. My impressions were positive so I assume that they can give satisfaction and listening pleasure to the owner. My choice was about Angstrom Audiolab because their build constraction and sonic performance are amazing and I consider them really a hi-end product.

If possible please watch zero fidelity review of mastersound the box review.he gave an rave review which compelled me to purchase the box without auditioning,now I relish the purchase driving superhl5 plus 40th annivesary.the depth of the box is singular.

I gave a look to the price and here in Italy you can find it brand new for roughly 2.000€, I think more than a fair price. The build it not too far from where I live and it's an area of great workers. I think that even if it's a good practice to audition the devices before buying you don't risk too much. I guess you'll be satisfied of your purchase.

Gianmarco Gervasi I can say that the Luxman is the less emotional (sound) of the group, but still a nice device with an excellent build quality. The VTL is really a power plant, never experienced its limit in my system. The sound in muscular and for sure it makes change the mind of who says that tubes are not pushing hard. The build is vintage and for sure not as good as Luxman or Angstrom, but with its own appeal. The Angstrom is in a different league from me. The build quality is stellar, all hand wired without printed board circuits, the chassis design and materials/components are without compromises. The sound is muscular and refined at the same time. The amplifiers are in class A and at maximum power (you can use it also at half power) you have 180 with the monoblocks, I never reached the limit. The integrated has the same sound signature, but less power (100 w class A). In my system the integrated is more than enough, but the temptation to have the pre+monos won :-).

@@Manuel-pd3vu thanks for your answer. By my experience.. i had audio analogue bellini VB/Donizetti dual mono with c7es3... It was Dynamic sound but not musical .. in particolar at low volume was not engaging.. Then i bought sugdena21se.. which is a nice amplifier that i suggest for p3esr.. however the sound was beautiful .. lacked of dinamic and bass control at higher volumes.. and It was timbricaly sexy but non correct.. Actually i use arc ls26 /vs115 and i am really satisfied for this combo with c7es3... I have met the owner of angstrom research last year and i am curius of his products that seen so well done..

gryphongryph, I think it’s powerful enough, it also depends on the size of the room. For my environment I didn’t feel it was underpowered. Clearly it wasn’t so muscular as the monos you can see below the Lux, but it’s a totally different league.

the VU meter are indicators for power supply and bias. From a technical point of view is more meaningful than moving needles, I agree that needles moving along with music are more exciting.

falco, consider that for this video I am using the iPad mic, in the other videos I use the Tascam recorder. Anyway you're right, the sound is more 'Audio Research' (with 6922 tubes). VTL sound has it's own signature, more muscular, maybe more solid state, but still with tube magic. According to my personal taste, my favorite are the Angstrom, more than VTL and Audio Research, they are in between ...

+MrZenderOne Yes, actually the situation improves if the speakers are moved far from the side wall. Last weekend I introduced in my system a Mark Levinson No.37 and No. 360. The sound quality increased greatly, including bass control. Now the problems on the bass are reduced drastically, probably (for sure) the quality of the analog output of the Airport Express is just decent, but nothing more.

+Manuel 25124 good choise,high quality components improves sound drastically,when I got bryston dac,many things got better.I wanted buy tascam recorder,but went with zoom,just because shop offered pay cash on dilivery and hooked up on one youtube video for great midrange .Does tascam record sounds realistically?

+MrZenderOne I think the sound is good, but I guess you can get better results with external mic (I didn't try it). I made some recordings of my motorbikes exhaust, you can find them on www.letsgarage.com. I did it to check the differences when replacing the pipes.
