What is the full build we are looking for gem wise once we get to maps? Your pob says to have alot of things. but once you hit maps you can lose a few of them.

Hello Skinner, would you say that Combo Viscous / Burstcous is better with gun build or ball build or Gun / Spirit hybrid? I've been training Goo-man a lot recently but have a hard time building. I always try to adapt my build to the game and usually opt in for a lot of tankiness. What would you recommend for a general build / Your favorite go to items for each category? I saw you buy QSR + SoP and imbue it on 1, together with Echo Shard, is that your go to for spirit items? What would you say is your favorite Gun items? What do you usually rush in an average game? (For example, try to maximize your dmg on 1 or build more gun items etc..) Sorry for the long comment, new to the champ and can't really find any source of info for these questions.

i literally have never been able to land a puddle punch I'm gonna try this and see how it goes

Found a way to make the ball stun melee combo really simple and effective.. I just hold RMB and LMB (for the speed) and Q, then as soon as I get the stun i hit 4 to release ball form. If I am still holding all 3 buttons the combo will work. I get the right click with mystic shot, then the heavy melee. It is *extremely* effective against squishy carries.

Spirit Strike - this item is powerful and imperative to the build. But at what point in the game do you consider ditching it? It’s amp damage is helpful and is constantly applied by punch, but at a certain point wouldn’t a boundless spirit or even just an improved spirit outweigh those benefits? Perhaps I’ll have to test for myself.

what items do you imbue on which abilities?

I would like to share some thoughts about the puddle-alt-splatter combo after playing some games with this playstyle in mind - it is really hard to hit effective punches if you don't have a height advantage over the enemy, or if the enemy sees you coming. It's telling that the compilation at the start of this video starts off with a majestic leap, fast movement or some sort of interesting flank. If you go towards an enemy in a predictable manner, they can simply dash or move fast parallel to you to make the puddle punch hard to hit. This is something to keep in mind. (this is just a scuffed lash with 3 times the mechanical skill needed)

What items do you recommend for maximizing punch damage? Are there specific Gun items that maximize damage?

In my testing just now, it appears Warp Stone and Phantom Strike can no longer be activated while in Goo Ball form

Could you make a build viscous for dummys? I am a little scared of builds with this many options when im new to a char.

Play 180 hours as viscious main. I legit on 9 lose streak using Viscous and think to switch main. Then this vids came to my recommendation. Now i'm on 6 win streak after watching this vids. Thank you!

That schmoovment in the beginning was insane. I hope to be doin that shit. My first step is learning to puddle punch better though. I have gotten got by it countless times. Accidentally moving before it goes off so it moves.
