Just a few years ago we were debating whether a baseball player is worth $300M or not. It’s crazy to me that the number is now doubled.

I don’t trust Heyman’s reporting, but 700 mil for a guy that’s only reached 40 homers once in 7 years and that was this year. His lifetime BA is under 300 at 285. He’s never been close to getting 200 hits. In 7 years he’s reached 100 plus RBI’s only 3 times. That’s worth over 700 mil? Anyway, until I hear it from Jeff Passan who’s reporting I trust, I’m not buying this nonsense.

Shohei is not pitching this year. It takes 2 years to get over Tommy John and he just had shoulder surgery after the World Series. He's probably not going to be able to even hit that well in 2025. It's a 700 million boondoggle and couldn't happen to a better team.

The Yankees have a ton of specials and discounts on tickets. You have to watch for them and be a smart consumer.

Great basketball point and I’ve been saying it for YEARS!!! In the NBA, if you average a double double, meaning in this case 12 points, 10 rebounds, you’re going to sign a 9 figure salary without even blinking. The NBA is marketed better than MLB. Bryce Harper is completely underpaid for his services as are many baseball players of today’s elk. It all comes down to marketability.
