Maybe it's time to explain why the baja got it's ass ripped.? It's not the engine that followed with the kyosho rtr car, but a racing engine and that tells it all. With the original engine that followed with the Kyosho, the kyosho would have no chance. So im asking or you could ad it to the description, what racing engine is used on the kyosho ??
Not exactly true, this NEO certainly has an upgraded engine, but even the stock if well tuned and run-in would leave a heavy Baja in the dust. That being said, you buy the Inferno NEO to run it stock until it dies or falls apart, you don't upgrade that, it is a waste of money. Don't understand me wrong, the Inferno NEO, 2.0 & 3.0 are exceptionally good nitro cars for having fun, but they are far from the top or worth upgrading. That being said, someone might have joy tinkering with them entering the hobby and in 2012 when this was taken it was more feasible doing so, today not so much, buy the NEO 3.0 run it stock and have fun, well worth the price for the fun you get.
I have a stock Baja, but else i have competition cars and racing engines , who are made with material that is a lot more durable then a rtr car, they are perfectly made for racing, and have to stand all the way through a final that last one hour with extremly punishment, there are a lot of jumps and many tracks have jumps that can may the buggy fly 15 meters before it lands, many many obstacles, offcourse it depends on the track, but a rtr car would maybe last 30-40 min before parts starts to break, the chassi can even brake in to, cause the alloytype 6061 and we use 7075 They are like a formula car and the engines opperates in a way higher league than a rtr car
I have a Baja 5b the rest of my cars are 6 competition cars with racing engines Novarossi and RB and 2 rtr electric. My Racing cars with especially one of the engines i use in my XRAY XB8 powerede by my clocked, modified Virtus would have eat that neo car for dinner, but anyway it was a great vid

tuned 1/8 nitro vs a tuned 1/5 gas, nitro should always win, but given the opportunity i would take the 1/5 gas over a 1/8 nitro any day

nothing wrong with the Baja cause the Kyosho use a very good racing engine and not a sport engine that use to come with all the rtr nitro cars

depends which one..the regular inferno neo got a GX-21BK engine while the inferno neo ST got the KE25 engine for high power and high torque..i got both and replced the GX-21KB for a K10 from RB...much powerfull and with a new pipe the sound is just so crazy!

Yea I had to tune mine because it would bog out and choke on gas so read the book where the screws are so u can adjust them
ok thanks man did you need to do any tunding to the motor or not i know it says on the hpi site thats its alll tunde up right from hpi just want to make sure on that b/c i had the baja going here last night and it would cut out im not sure if there was dirt in the gas or not but it would do that it was like its not getting any gas if you can help that would be great thanks
