Oh, I thought punching was only faster uphill. I was wrong.
So I'm not actually sure at this point. Gulpt convinced me that it is faster all the time, and I'm pretty sure it's also faster when you start a punch at a ledge and continue the punch into the falling animation. It's certainly not slower though, and I like to do it, but it's defo not necessary even for WR attempts at this point
@@mcmooshroo2974 replying to a comment on a 3 year old video is crazy, and the ledge thing is true. I'm also not sure if punching always is faster. There's almost no time loss in this game other than dashing then touching the ground.
