Hi, I use a piece of a flat rubber mat around the frame of the pool where the skimmer attaches, to prevent the skimmer to float up and inside the pool I use an old plug from a bestway pool to keep the skimmer of the liner and more vertical. Try and use some rubber strips around the poles where it attaches at the top and move it closer or further away from the intake, so the hose from the skimmer to the intake puts a little pressure on it to stay in place. Also try rotating the hose at the bottom of the skimmer, sometimes it is twisted slightly and it pulls the skimmer into the pool. 👍🏻

You can do it! I didnt want to do it at first, seen as the pool is only a year old, but decided to go for it and it has been a great addition. Would install it on the next pool without any doubts. We always take the pool down at the end of summer, so I will have to take the skimmer of for storing the liner in the garage. I don’t expect any issues however 🙂👍🏻

@@Superman-xr1oh Circulation in the pool I would have to answer with no, that is all down to the inlet that returns water from the filterpump to the pool. If that is powerful enough and you have an inlet that is adjustable to change the direction of the water, that will increase the circulation of the water in the pool itself. Circulation through the pump is not improved by adding a skimmer, it only takes the water from a different spot in the pool. So more from the surface area rather than 1/2 to 3/4 from the bottom where the normal outlets are located. For best performance, the original outlets need to be blocked/disconnected, so the water only is pulled in through the skimmer. Your pump will still perform as well as before and will only perform better if it was previously not able to take as much water in through smaller hoses or fittings via the original outlets.

If you mean the rail as in where it attaches to the tube/pole of the swimming pool, try adding some rubber between the tube and the skimmer bracket, that worked on our previous pool. We also had to take it out when the kids were in the pool, because of them jumping around, the skimmer more than once came floating up. If you mean the connection on the vertical bar of the bracket, there should be a screw fitting which you can fasten tighter, that will prevent the skimmer from going up or down. Last but not least, make sure there is not to much tention from the tube at the bottom that connects to the outlet. If so, try turning it or moving skimmer closer or further away from the outlet.

Just put it where a leg is and put two zip ties around the pole and thru the pool holes and connect it to the skimmer arm
