Carnival the best cruise line ever

My family cruised on the sister ship to the Jubilee, the Celebration, and also on the Icon. We all agreed we liked the Celebration better. The cost was less, the food was better, and the lines were shorter on Celebration. We used to love Royal Caribbean but the food quality has gone down hill in 2024. Glad we gave Carnival a try and already booked our next cruise on Jubilee.

You get what you pay for. Splendour is more than acceptable for the money you pay to get on. If the presenter is offended then pull your wallet out and get on the Icon, Oasis or Edge.

It's a great quality video.. but we just got off that ship and it isnt great.

The comments of "Walmart of cruises" is due to the bad behavior and trash that seems to be drawn to Carnival vs other cruise lines.

As much as i love p&o, im also super excited for the merging. Carnival has always offered way more activities and more. it also, in a way, seems more family friendly and now caters to a large audience. I will be sailing on this beauty as soon as i can.

Another great tour video Jedd! My husband & I are traveling on this ship for the second time in January, this ship was my maiden voyage and started my love affair with cruising. A fun spot 2.0 upgrade or dry dock to bring some of Spendors new features would be nice.

We disembarked her last week. Thanks for giving BRISBANE another Bogan ship. Quantum is a much bigger version of the PACIFIC DAWN, the queen of Brisbanes bogun ships. By that l mean a CULT ship, dowdy decor, theme nights ( jeez, what company do those anymore, RCC apparently and any real cruise lovers worst nightmare. The food, hmm even worse than old Dawny. Minuscule desserts the size of a domino or shot glass, mostly topped with fake cream, yep, RCC no longer serve real fresh cream, sad. This ship has no grand dining room just two very small dark dingy ones, one called the American Grille the other Silk, hmm, doesn’t have that ring to it like The Grande Eparnay does it ( go Celebrity, you show em). Lots of salads, lots of iceberg lettuce more like it. Getting back to the decor, dark brown or dark grey, so you do have a choice. Lots of pools, and they actually have lovely decking, much nicer than the fake grass on the Dawn Princess eh. Entertainment…..weeeelllll, l think l have been as realistic as l can so won’t mention the two thirty minute shows that wowed us to sleep. Don’t get too lovey Dovey with the new RCC Dawny now, Brisbanes getting rid of it next year for their new cast off. The Virtuousa is bigger still, let’s hope she is decent enough for real cruise people and not so attractive to the B Bs.

The ice cream gelato looks delicious. I just did Celebrity Ascent. Yhe cruise was HOt but the cruisers were knot! I am trying virgin next and going to keep an open mind.

Hi there, thanks for the great video. We will be taking Carnival Splendor in 2026 and traveling with a friend that has very poor eyesight. Do you know if there are obvious (carpet colour perhaps) ways a person can tell the side they are on (Port or Starboard), deck number or heading forward or aft?

I like the quirky designs. The ship has since updated its carpet and some other bits and pieces but I agree Splendor is my least fav ship as well. The layout is just weird

We are writing and warming you regarding our recent experience on the Celebrity Edge Cruise to the Great Barrier, dated 22/10/2024. Upon our return home, I was diagnosed with a throat infection and still have it a week later, which my doctor confirmed is likely due to inhaling soot from the ship’s engines while we were on the sun loungers. Additionally, my wife suffered from nausea and dizziness during our time on board detracting significantly from what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience. I also have a video documenting the heavy soot situation, which I can provide upon request. The Captain has been informed of our concerns; however, we feel it is important to formally request a full refund due to the serious health issues we encountered.
