My inner Monk would go crazy again at the crooked graphics card 😵😵
Open frame for the win
I would love to see another video in 2024!
Can you provide a buy list of the metal bundle you purchased. Thank you
love your videos . love from Bangladesh.
I like it. 😃
Been watching your videos for months and I just realized you still havent reach a thousand subs. Thanks for the effort. Subbed
I appreciate that!
Thank you
Good job, Paul! I should start developing idea for mine, too. and yeah, if you need a nail clipper, try one from Green bell, haha! It's awesome:)
So good to hear from you! One more thing to remember lighting, editing, nail clippers ! ? !
fyi, it's ok to leave the material your drilling on the wooden blocks your using as a "work surface" and drill through the metal into the wood. you will not hurt the bits. it will help with leverage and not snapping as many bits. trying to hold those lil angle metal pieces just over the edge of wood blocks is being way to extra. just drill it on a sacrificial block of wood
looks good
Thanks for watching!
Awesome build man! greetings from Argentina👍
Glad you like it!
Vamo que con un poco de maña sale ehh jajajaja
My guy is back!!! Welcome bro, great video as usual!!
Thanks for the feedback!
we share the same magnet trick HAHAHAHA
what camera you use bro?
Does the hot air go down and out through the PSU?
Hi Paul, U are okay? we miss you man
Can you please provide link for the 3-in-1 drill bit (drill, tap, counter-sink) used in this video?
Unpainted aluminum does not short out components
It can, but in a good case parts don't touch metal
do you sell for a living?
I watched this video for the voice over. ❤
You are so kind!!! This makes me want to post another video!
Do mini ITX motherboards have PCI-e slots or M.2? Is the same kind of slot used for NVME disks than for graphic cards and Ethernet cards?
Thanks for watching! This Mini-ITX motherboard does have a PCI-e x16 for a graphics card (82 pins and 89mm wide) and an M.2 slot for the NVME SSD (22 mm wide)
2:50 Have wooden piece under. Drill through the material into the wood under it. You'll never break it @paulchurchill5598. Just like at 4:00
Great advice! I love hearing tips from everyone. Thanks for watching
Will definitely adapt this method to make a opean frame design. Will use revits to hold all the pieces together.
It is called a jigsaw
spend money in one, now discovery this guide...
I am from india i want to build this on wood olz reply sir
What is the size of mother board screw
The brass standoff has M8 female threads (motherboard side) and 6-32 male threads (frame side), so the motherboard screw is M8. Hope this helps and good luck with your project!
@@paulchurchill5598 thank you soo much sir once
the wood :/
Thanks for watching! Checkout my all aluminum Open Frame build...
Plywood has never been a wood I like to work with. It nearly never looks good. HOWEVER!! the aluminum frame looks awesome. 👍
Cutting oil or wd40 when drilling metal
Great advice. Thanks for watching!
Good work!! 👍👍 The axial compressive strength of commercially available aluminum frames can reach 3 to 5 tons!! Such a case is much tougher than those cases made of cold rolled galvanized steel sheet. Building a computer case by aluminum frames is really an enjoyable thing for DIY.
Glad you like the concept. I enjoyed puzzling this project altogether.
Man i love your videos , keep doing great job!
Nice to hear from you. Thanks for the encouraging words.
Ada Indonesia coyyyy!!!😜😜😜
This project embodies the pure amateur spirit, just like the old days when we were full of curiosity and DIYed with things around us. Thanks your job.
I appreciate the feedback. Sharing this project I made from scratch is very rewarding.
damn this channel is gold
Awesome! Glad you like this content.
I'm going to be doing something similar inside of a vintage 1930s RCA Victor radio. Replacing the speaker with a SilverStone 160mm fan. Stripping the old electronics out and building out an aluminum chasis inside with a heat shaped acrylic shroud to extend the body of the "case" and allow the RGB goodness to shine out into the world.
Thanks for watching. I thought about doing something like that. A classic RCA Radio would be perfect. Good luck!
No airflow?
Nope! Thanks for noticing ;) I thought my case would "leak" air, but it didn't. This turned out to be a problem and led to my video adding an RGB 140mm fan. Check it out!
I love this build, the possibilities with this frame are endless, I think a complete acrylic version would be amazing looking or maybe even a carbon fiber version :D
Let your imagination run wild! Have you seen my Custom Fan install? I use an acrylic panel to mount a 140mm RGB fan. Thank You
Hello, good job, do you have any detailed info, dimеntions for this project
Great question! The frame is 12" x 5.5" x 6.75". ( 310x140x170mm ). Look forward to more video showing details.
i dont know why but i subed to you keep up the good work
Many Thanks. Likes and Subs keep me going.
fostum merhaba türkiyeden yazıyorum sana böyle bit atx kasa yapıp gönderirmisin ne kadar fiyatı tutarsa ?
Thanks for watching!
Fanel lol
Hahaha! Thanks for watching
Nice build!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
PCIe x16 graphics card support and aperture?
Great idea! You should check my open frame build. Complete with riser cable and graphics card.
great job I have the same project. I wonder if an enclosure is necessary? Air flow, noise and dust protection?
That is awesome! It has been a couple months and not too much dust. An enclosure is a great idea for the future!
Did the temps improved or the added fan disrupted the normal airflow?
Temps are so much better! The big fan moves a lot of air and pretty quiet.
i am thinking abou the cable management and the exosfan
Thanks for watching! modular PSU is the future
Could you make a version of this that’s all metal, the wood kinda hurts the aesthetic
Glad you watched the video. All metal wood look cool!!!
