As a songwriter I always loved the lyrics to this tune. Alice used double entendres: class - school rooms, but also well mannered status; principals/principles - head of the school, a set of rules. In the original Alice sings "principals" followed by "I can't even think of a word that rhymes !" There is no rhyme for "principal".

Damn that singer sounds like studio magic Axle, Axles never sounded that good live!! Not to mention he's been a complete douchebag most of his life. When I lived in Florida I saw him on his solo tour when he had Buckethead playing guitar with him and he was over an hour late coming on.
