This channel is primarily a plane spotting page,
A page for me to publish my still photos and video., and to meet other like minded folks.
My passion for photography has been a lifelong journey. Being inspired by my brother Mike, buying my first film camera in 1979 in the Air Force, and retiring after 30 years in the film industry.
Now shooting Canon 5D4 and 5D3, i own a Canon C300mkI, just as inspired today as 40 years ago.
Id like to now share my database of video and stills and hoping to produce new worthy content.
My equipment is changing along with my skill level, attempting to up grade all of it. Hoping to upgrade equipment as i go along.
Im always interested in what camera and equipment set ups people are using.
With my background in feature films, i have a benchmark, trying to achieve it is my goal.
Hope everyone enjoys the content. I hope to improve with every post.

What a day an amazing shooting video of approaches and refueling of CalFire support Aircraft and contractors fighting the Palisades Fire, Day 3, after being grounded the previous day for high winds.
Ground crews and contractors just non- stop ALL DAY LONG into the evening refueling and rePhos-Chek'ing tankers for the Palisades fire in addition to the other fires.
Maybe I should have included aircraft types?
Amazing to watch, how damn efficient these folks are.

Used to watch the U-2 take off every morning from U-Tapao in '72. More awesome than the SR-71 in my opinion. The 396 El Camino catch vehicle wasn't bad either.

These are UH-60Ms being used in the fire attack role, hence the bright color identification markings. These make them visible to both aircrews and ground crews.
