Cool way of getting audio into the radio via the internal sound card, how does that compare to going in the mic socket do you think? Would the 710 eq and processor etc still work with that route? Nice set up .

That's a very clean shack setup. The midi controller is a nice solution to having multiple input/outputs. I have an analog mixer in my shack. While I love the feel of analog audio equipment, it does create extra cables going all over the shack.
