It grips on to my vent EXTREMELY well! It’s tight enough that you feel you have to use a little force when taking it on and off. It’s honestly never fallen off the vent and my phone (iPhone 15 Pro Max) has never fallen off either considering my wife sometimes says I drive like I’m in the fast & furious, this is the most secure MagSafe phone holders I’ve used! Haven’t thought about changing it since I got this one and it has such a small footprint it doesn’t take up too much space Hope this helps, thank you

@@PersianPrinceTech I looked at my car today and sadly, this won't work for me. Because of the design and position of the air vents it will place my phone behind the steering wheel or towards the passenger side. So either way I won't be able to use it for navigation. Looks like I'll have to go the expensive route.

Sorry you’ve had such bad luck, but I’d be willing to bet if a company as renowned as Spigen went yellow in 10 days, 1: they wouldn’t be in the case business anymore, 2: someone whose been using various cases from various brands for over 14 years would have noticed such poor quality of products So appreciate you haven’t had a great product, but please don’t assume or call someone a liar. Ah 15 Pro Max 🤦‍♂️! Yes definitely, I use it on my 15 Pro Max and works brilliantly! I would always suggest using a MagSafe compatible case on your phone however, as this increases the strength of the magnet and reduces the risk of it falling

Yes it’s fine to use and have it wirelessly charge or wired charge by usb and just have the mount stand alone

I used it for a few months & it was all fine, didn’t break and I passed it on to my dad after and still lasted without any cracks etc while it was used

No foam or soft material there. The base and expanders are both made of a hard plastic

Apparently it’s a known issue by Apple that this happens! However I’ve tried it on 3 different iPhones and not seen this happen & still get the option for it to charge up to 90% or past to 100% Seems as though it’s a bit of a hit and miss issue, unresolved though. IMO, will probably stay unresolved as Apple have removed it from sale due to the Lightning port on it. As annoying as it may sound, perhaps try a back-up & full reinstall of your iOS on device, or make sure the firmware version on the MagSafe battery is at version 2.7.b.0 I reckon a USB-C version is on the way…

I don’t have any way of testing that unfortunately as it’s too early to say. However based off the way it works I’d say no. Similar to a power bank that has gone dead won’t provide any charge if plugged in

@@PersianPrinceTech thanks for responding first of all! So when u say its too early, how much of a life u expect for this product? Do the batteries degrade same as the iphone ones say 10% health drop in an year or so?? Do we see battery health % at all for this accessory??

Mine personally over the past year has degraded & the device itself was probably made close to 2 years ago. I’ve definitely seen a drop in its capacity, but that’s probably about 10% at best. So I think from an average use case you’re looking at a good few years before it goes completely, nothing to worry about. However rumours of apple releasing a new updated battery with USB-C… 👀

@@PersianPrinceTech I contacted the Belkin support and they told me that it's normal as the iPhone 14 series are not officially tested with the product yet. However, I don't have any response when and if they will ever be tested in the future..

It’s specifically tailored to fit MagSafe and tbh I’ve never owned anything but iPhone since the iPhone 4, so I’m not too sure! I’d say best thing is to measure the magnet array if present/possible in Samsung & check the dimensions

Oh it definitely has good drop protection for sure! I would recommend it In terms of normal everyday drops and nothing extreme, I did drop it accidentally a few times and it survived without a scratch on it. Hope this helps 👍

The MagSafe on the case, yes it will work fine with a MagSafe car holder, but the non-MagSafe holders tend to have different size magnet holders usually smaller & centred from what I’ve seen (not used) In which case it won’t work ☹️ there will barely be magnetism to non at all

After about 6-8 months you do start to notice discolouration, but honestly it's nothing terrible in comparison to other cases I've used on the market!

I don’t see why not. You would have to apply a privacy protector to the phone screen itself and then install the phone inside the case. I wouldn’t use tempered glass though, because that may effect how sensitive the touch screen is

In my experience it did start to show its yellow after about 6 months and Spigen was a lot quicker than that! But 6 months in for the price, I’m happy to swap out or change the case & two of these are still cheaper than an Apple magsafe case

🤔 I haven’t tried that myself tbh, but I’ve not heard of anyone doing that either, so I can’t really say for sure… But the way the plastic does yellow I don’t think it would be that effective, at least not for a long enough period of time that you’d want it to be. If you try do let me know

Just a crazy thought but since plastic automobile headlights yellow and you can polish them back clear (light sanding on really bad ones first) if some type of abrasive cleaner would work on the phone case. Like tooth paste or A-jax. Soft scrub might even work on the silicone type material around the sides of the case. 🤷🏼‍♂️

i think if you use uv light and hydrogen peroxide the yellowing will go away but thats a bit extreme

Hey dude, no I actually filmed this on the iPhone 13 Pro! I USED to have the Canon EOS RP, but I’ve since switched to Sony cameras and in terms of a DSLR, I can honestly say switching to Sony was the best decision!

@@PersianPrinceTech what?! i just bought the EOS RP yesterday.... sony is too expensive.... i was considering a7iii but it will cost me over CAD$4,000 to get a camera body + 24-105mm lense + extended warranty + tax and I am a first time camera user lol... cry...

Sorry to hear that dude. It’s not the best thing in the world and depending on what happened I hope you don’t have any trauma from it like I did. It does get better but it takes time. The physical pain goes away but for me the headaches didn’t stop. Was referred back to the hospital, but the doctor literally told me “I wouldn’t have a scan on my head if you paid me” and dismissed me

I’m quite sure it’s the same material used yes, especially being the same manufacturer. I haven’t used the Spigen case for as long on the 13, but being the same you material I’d say it would yellow after a few months yes

In my experience (and I’ve bought a lot of cases over the years) all ‘soft plastic’ cases will eventually yellow no matter how “non yellowing” their advertised as, it’s the reaction of the material unfortunately. Your best bet for non yellowing cases will be to look at clear hard cases (or non clear). To start with you have the official Apple clear case

@@PersianPrinceTech I have a jail broken fire stick since it doesn’t work with the tv apps a Bose lifestyle 650 and a ps4 and yes those damn light bars ain’t cheap lol

im on 85" TV as well, and i have 1 75" gradient light strip+3 light bars, works like a charm!!~i even have a dark grey TV wall, my tv mounted really close to the wall, but i still managed to make them work.

Out of curiosity, how did you arrange the eight light bars?

@@douglasdayton2544 I have 3 on top 3 on the bottom 2 on each side alone with a spotlight on the floor of each side I also recently added 10 more lights behind my couch and on the sides of the room but you will need another sync box and another media device with the app but they will all sync together

My only issue with the Philips TV’s was the crazy expensive prices for their OLED models of the ambilight TV’s! The Sony TV I got was OLED and half the price of the same size Philips!! But I’ve been so happy with the quality of the OLED, it’s been mind blowing, I haven’t given much thought to the hue sync lights since! Another thing I’ve noticed is how much less heat there is in the room since removing the hue sync box and Gradient lightstrip
